Autumn walked out of her den, it was her nightly patrol ever since Dawnjewel betrayed.. Everyone.
Autumn's paws thrashed between the grass. She felt the sweet spring air shine in the moonlight.
"Come on crew, the sun will never set!"
A group of cats followed her steps,
Fog, River, and Rosemary.
"I swear if i see any fog. There's another patrol hiding in there."
Fog mewed in a grumpy tone.
"Come on Fog! You are always so negative."
The umbra colored cat River answered back.
"I just want to find some catnip, now that's the good stuff!"
Rosemary, the light ginger she-cat mewed.
Autumn frowned a little.. It just turned into an argument about whatever.. Now it was about where catnip grows and marriages.
And as that wise cat River says..
"You'll never get to know someone without arguing!"
When Fog's red eyes shined in pure fury!
"You were born from a stressed marriage!"
Fog suddenly became more aggressive than he did before, his teeth bared, glimmering in the moonlight.
Autumn got between the two cats, Rosemary was almost in tears.
"Now Fog, don't say that! She knows it, don't make her feel worse!"
Autumn sighed.
"Let's just continue.."
They neared closer to mountain domain. The beautiful night sky shined ever so beautifully in the mountains.
A strange patrol of cats wandered through.
The gray tom cat squealed,
"Ghosts!"
The patrol didn't bother. A strange ginger led the patrol.
They had.. Prey? But they weren't going to Mountain Domain. They were going to..
The Nightfall Colony?
But they had the full scent of mountain domain!
"Rosemary, i'll take back what i said if i can say this is weird."
Fog nervously said
"Deal..."
A tom's voice whispered through the fog. He seemed to have an accent.
"I must protect my domain.. And your not taking OUR territory."
The patrol pounced at Rosemary!
But..
Why Rosemary specifically?
Autumn tore the fur off the ginger tom, she wasn't able to look at his face before he ran.
The patrol attempted to steal the flower-crown Rosemary made with her parents..
When Scout was still there.
River and Autumn roared a signal!
3 other cats appeared to they're aid, they threw the cats off her! 1 other helping repair her most prized possession.
Alisa, hearing the roar rushed to her step-daughter, looking at her hurt daughter in tears.
A glimpse of the ginger tom appeared, then went into the fog, but not before saying..
This.
"Dawnjewel was a friend you know.. But you took it all. I will take it all for you."
The patrol was chased off. Rosemary's flower-crown looked no-more different than before.
Alisa nudged her. "Come on, Sunrise can solve this. We have always had a bad look with Mountain domain."
The patrol had returned in the morning, Moonlit kept her sister comfy while Sunrise and Alisa spoke about the patrol.
"But how? Nightfall outright told Mountain domain she doesn't need help!"
Alisa looked concerned.
"Nightfall came to me straight that she would never tell Mountain domain to attack us! Especially my own daughter!"
"We have to trust Nightfall. She's young compared to us old farts in here."
Sunrise was amused by that remark.
"Alisa, i think i need to think about that, wanna share some catnip?"
Alisa smiled a little bit.
"And fish, don't forget that!"
Rosemary and Moonlit stood up.
"I'll go mining to cheer up Rosemary!"
Rosemary laughed
"Now that's what i call a good older sister!
The family gathered up and laughed.
Seems like all the worries faded. But Rosemary thought..
