•add bigger words or your meaning is more specific than what you need

4)write short sentences

5) use active voice

6) keep paragraphs short

•if the subject changes the paragraph changes

•if the Voice changes the paragraph changes,

•it doesn’t matter if the paragraph is only 1 word

7) edit ruthlessly

•if it doesn’t add to the writing you don’t need it

10) don’t be redundant or repeat your words
