Weekly Challenge: A Place In History

Hello all! I hope you’re had a wonderful weekend you beautiful people!

I have a dive into the past for you today!

So I personally love history and a lot of figures from the past. From a number of different eras. My current favorite man from the past is decorating this post.

oh my god I love him you don’t get it.

So I was thinking history could be a fun topic to explore to see what all you thought.

For Writers

Tell us about any pieces you have directly tied into history (like historical fiction) or a story that may have pieces that are inspired by historical events (like Star Wars and the empire with Nazis).

Or even better, write us a short story about your favorite piece of history or favorite person from history.

For Readers

Tell us about books you’ve read either based in history or inspired by some history. Make a list of all the historical books you enjoy!

From any period of history and it can include fantasy as long as you describe what time in history that piece is drawn from.

For myself as an example, I write a lot of historical fiction. World War Two is my favorite but I’m also writing a fantasy story inspired from a number of places in time.

I also read a lot of history related pieces, Biographies of America’s founding fathers, Killing The Rising Sun, The Book Thief, and others. This is a very short list.
