Newt. A character that does not need description to justify and describe his noble deeds as a ive character. He was there. He was always there. Trudging through the most challenging of situations, ing into the dark void of self-doubt and self-loathing. Yet, in the utter temptation of ending it all, he stayed. He pushed aside his own problems to solve the problems of others. When the cold and strenuous burden of leader fell upon Thomas’s shoulders, Newt was there. He was there to take the load. Guiding his companions with utter wit and advice along their heart wrenching journey. Newt was not just a mere ive character, but someone who touched the hearts of not just those around him, to even the audience that experienced their adventures with him. He was what held the group together. Keeping them as one in his cool, calm, and collective state. He was the Glue.
