So I know that this a topic talked about a lot but do you think listening to an audiobook counts as reading? For me I think if you listen to an audiobook then you can say you read the book but if you only listen to audiobooks I don’t think you can say that you are a reader per say. I don’t fully know what to call it because the definition of reading is “the action or skill of reading written or printed matter silently or aloud.” Sooo I don’t know how I would refer to it. But what would you guys think?

I feel like im cheating and missing out on an experience when I listen to audio books. That’s why when I do I only listen to books I have already read as to fully understand, appreciate, and relive the content. And after listening to it I wouldn’t say I read the book twice but that’s just me
