FB and Where to Find Them Book Tag

Hello everyone! I’ll be doing various book tags for a week (definitely not as motivation to stop being lazy). Come me if you’d like to. (1) If you could own one fantastic creature which one would it be and why?

I’d definitely want to own a phoenix. You know that they’d be with you for as long as you live. They’re extremely loyal and intelligent, so they’ll be the best of companions. Plus, they are easy to just keep in your house and fly next to you. No need for a suitcase.

(2) Would you rather be a magizoologist or an auror?

Definitely a magizoologist. I am so much better with animals than people. Both careers sound pretty dangerous, but even professional magizoologists wouldn’t just casually look for a Basilisk or something while wizards would easily use them as weapons. Besides, I’d rather have animal companions than humans lol.

(3) Would you rather study at Hogwarts or Ilvermorny?

This is a pretty unfair question considering Hogwarts is the og. I’d obviously go with Hogwarts. The US, or at least at the time of Newt Scamander, doesn’t let wands out of the school or let no-majs even know about magic. I’ve always found myself as a Ravenclaw student and I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland.

(4) Would you rather be a no-maj or an obscurus?

I’d much rather be a no-maj. Being an obscurus sounds like a nightmare. I won’t even drink let alone want to be someone who can’t control powerful magic that can kill others. Maybe I wouldn’t be aware of magic in general as a no-maj, but I think that’s a lot safer than being emotionally destructive and unstable. I’ll just end up being another Jacob :blush:

(5) Would you rather work in a bakery or write your own book based on magical creatures?

Uhhh definitely write my own book on magical creatures. I’m a terrible baker and I like writing way more. Being both a magizoologist and an author at the same time is literally my dream job. Boy do I wish magical creatures were real sometimes.

(6) Would your rather be related to Newt or Credence?

Definitely Newt. I’m so much like him: awkward, can’t talk to people, relate to animals, like the peacefulness, etc. I definitely wouldn’t want to be related to Credence given his family situation. I would probably end up as an obscurus and just thinking about the poor abuse gives me the chills.

(7) Would you rather have a relationship like Tina and Newt or Jacob and Queenie?

Again, an easy question to answer. Considering Queenie literally ed the dark side so they could marry (which please tell me the logic behind that idea cuz who would want to marry someone aiding the villain aiming to kill everyone) I’d have to say Tina and Newt. Besides, I like how Tina is so confident and Newt is so awkward, and when they’re together it’s just adorable how shy they are.

(8) Work for Dumbledore or Grindelwald?

I love villains but who gives up the chance to work for Dumbledore? If you do I will eagerly take your place. I’d also rather not either die or rot in Azkaban for life. I think putting your life in danger to be a hero or die trying would be extremely rewarding.

(9) What would you see in the mirror of erised?

I honestly have no idea. Maybe me at Hogwarts in Ravenclaw robes with a phoenix on my shoulder because I really want magic to be real :joy:

(10) Would you rather be a maledictus or a be under the effects of a love potion?

Both sound horrendous, but I’d much rather be under the effects of a love potion. I’d find out what it’s like to be in love even if it’s superficial, or at the very least have an experience to write about later. Plus there’s a cure. Turning into a beast forever just doesn’t seem appealing.
