Epiphany

Making mistakes don't give off an okayish vibe

Long since lost tears in my eyes

Seems like you left with a part of me

A future together I held dear

I hope I could just take a break

And just bribe my way with the world

But I have got a tedious fate

Which gifts me wonders-

just to take em' away

Brought up with ethereal sights,

Only to be turned blind again-

When the choices held infront

Are the only keys to offer an change

The nearest ones are not the dearest to me

For farthest are the loved

My aquarium of different memories

The only euphoria in this world

In my years of teenage angts

Life was ineffable with a bit of lust

But monsters who are docile for long

Can curse you with eternal scars

Surreptitiously I plead my dreams

To take me away on a faraway journey

Harmony in a world with no thorns

Just ploughing the clouds daily morning

Thought too much of what to come next

Maybe that's what took all my sleep away

More appealing was the afterlife

Then these summons down from hell

Epiphanies of what's binding my life

It's a breath strangling Gleipnir-

Made of fear

You don't lose yourself when the lights go off

It's only when you walk the wrong way.
