Each other's worlds

Just a little something to greed everything as a newbie!!

All around people ed them by, mere pedestrians, kids, couples. With various destination and purposes. Yet from that corner far in the shadows she watched with envy in those bright green eyes and discontent as something inside of her pricked her every inch. Like thousands of needles asaulting her skin.

Envy was painful like that for a gentle soul like hers but she couldn't help but yearn for what they all had and failed to properly acknowledge. Strong muscular arms wrapped around her torso resting his chin on her shoulder. It was rare for them to enjoy an evening walk together.

"What's wrong" he asked in a manner that should be illegal. To him she could it things she wouldn't dare voice otherwise but with him it was different. With him she could breath again letting go of the facade of the prestigious protégé she had to put in front of her family and be at peace with the flaws knowing he understood and accepted every aspect of hers with adoration.

"Look at them" she hang he head locking her eyes to the pavement "the are free. They won't even realise the importance of it. They hold what I always wanted yet they won't even realise" looking back up her attention fell on a small family. A mother holding one small delicate hand of a blond boy bursting with happiness while his father held his other one with a smile on his face.

'Will we ever manage to be like them she thought, do I even deserve to?' She asked herself still not lifting her head to meet his gaze.

His bright eyes carefully watching her every movement darted to the crowd scanning their surroundings, for him nothing like that ever mattered, the world had no influence when she was around because simply she was his whole world. He reached to cup her chin offering a charming smile so colourful it was blinding. If she didn't like the shadows all he had to do was paint them, give her the illusion she so much craved.

A short laugh escaped from his mouth, heavy and hoarse yet melodic in her ears.

"Hey! What are you laughing at?!" She protested.

"You look so cute with your head hanging like that, like a puppy getting scolded" he reached and planted a single kiss atop her nose dying her cheeks a burning scarlet.

"I'm pouring out my soul to you and you don't even take it seriously!!" She chocked out stuttering just as much as her pride allowed her to.

"Don’t you worry princes, you are worthy oūf happiness greater than any of those commoners would date feel. Now you only have to wait patiently and see what sate has in store for you."He wispered teasingly into her ear wrapping his arms tighter around her from the behind as his chest vibrated with silent laughter.

She told him not to joke about serious matters like that. Yet he  laughed, and she laughed along. The sound of their ed voices echoed like choir as she turned her gaze so innocently to look up at the brilliant starlit sky and the silhouettes contradicting it's beauty started to fade decreasing into nothing more than an buzzling blur.

And at that moment that everything seemed so far away like they were the only ones in the whole entire world, because in reality at that moment they were each other's worlds. And they both fell so hopelessly attached, they fell so hard and farther down, there was no going back.
