Where all 3 of your girls in there? It looks a little small. Betta Sororities are best kept and the most successful in 20 gallons or more of water. You also need a minimum of 5 girls to establish the pecking order. This could be the reason why you might be having trouble keeping them and could explain why they died.
Yes I kept all 3 girls in this tank, it ws only 2.5 gallons I don't have enough room for more than this. I was told that there had to be a minimum of 3 in a tank if I had female bettas. Thank you, if I do get more I will make sure that I get 5.

Yeah I'm sorry but that's why your betta died on ya. You can succeed with 3 but it has to be at least a 20 gallon tank. A 2.5 really is only good for one betta. I hope you have better luck next time. And again I'm sorry for your loss.
