So when I said Indigo wasn't eating? It was because he has dropsy. I couldn't tell yet because his stomach wasn't swollen at all, and his scales weren't protruding outwards either. He won't eat, won't really move, and just seems really unhappy.

Have any of you had any bettas that have had dropsy? Did you cure it successfully? Please help me out so I can buy supplies to help him!

like mermaid said, dropsy is extremely hard to treat and treatments arent guaranteed to work.. i have heard of one case that involved using epsom salt and "Betta Revive" for two weeks, doing 100% water changes every day in a very small hospital tank. i hope all goes well :[

Unfortunately dropsy is VERY hard to treat and it has a low success rate. Dropsy is organ failure.

Yes, that's what I heard... I'm not sure if treating him will do anything at this point because he's not eating.
