Tesla’s VA Highlight

             I said I’d be back, and I’m here with

             the next b my series of posts

             for Tesla’s birthday. This time I’m

              going to highlight his Japanese VA,

             Yuichi Nakamura. Like his English

             counterpart, Yuichi has had a fairly

             prolific career so it was a bit hard

             narrowing down who I wanted to

              post about for this. Even though I

             only chose his most well known

              roles, there’s still a lot to cover for

             this. So, without further ado, let’s

              get started!

      So, like his English counterpart, Yuichi

      also provides the voice for Muramasa.

       This zanpakuto spirit is the only other

      Bleach character that Yuichi provides

       his voice for, but that is likely because

      there are more voice actors for anime

      in Japan then there are in America.

-                                 >      𝙈𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙍𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 ※

      Mumen Rider! Another good boi. This

      character is also voiced by Tesla’s VA

      in English as well. You’ll see that these

      two voice actors share more roles in

      common than Nnoitra’s two VAs for

      some reason. It could be that these

      two just generally have more roles.

-                                 >     𝙂𝙞𝙡𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙝 (𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙚) ※

      This is not a character I know much

       about or even what his voice sounds

      like, but I did want to include Gilgamesh

       because Nnoitra’s VA also did a Fates

      character as well. If you recall, Canna

       provides the voice for Cú Chulainn.

      This is one I didn’t see coming. Granted

       I’ve not watched these episodes lately

        nor have I watched them multiple times.

        Finding out he did the voice of Hawks

        makes me want to go back and rewatch

        these episodes.

-                                 >     𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙙 (𝙁𝙈𝘼𝘽) ※

      This is specifically agreed from the 2009

      anime Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

       I found it a little strange that they didn’t

       use the same VA from the 2003 anime,

      but then again, Junichi Suwabe could

       have been busy. That’s about the time

      Grimmjow episodes were probably

       being recorded. Either way, Yuichi has

      a pretty versatile voice.

      Lastly there’s this guy. I literally know

      nothing about him, but I do know that

      he’s a popular character. Now you guys

      know that this character is voiced by the

      same VA as Tesla. I’d imagine he probably

      uses the same voice he did with Tesla for

      this guy, but I could be wrong. Let me

       know if I’m right or not, I’m curious to know.

             There you have it. These are the

              different characters that Yuichi

             Nakamura has voiced through the

             years. Some were not a surprise

              while others were unexpected.

              From Bleach to BNHA, I always

              appreciate a nice deep serious

             tone of voice. Maybe next round

             of birthdays I’ll focus on the English

             voice actors for Tesla and Nnoitra.
