         ❑▻ Backstory: Born into a royal family and fed with a silver spoon, Kasem had everything he had ever wanted, well in of material things. His parents loves him of course, well, his father rather. His father, Fire Lord Kovit, treated him like a true son, he cared about everything in Kasem. His mother, Onwara, on the other hand... Just loves him because she wanted to use him as a weapon for battle. When Kovit had mysteriously ed away, the throne was instantly inherited to Kasem. Did he rule and made the kingdom better? Nope, why? His mother forced her son to do what she wanted.

Kasem was still being treated like his opinions do not matter. Despite being a ruler, he still obeys to what his mother tells him to do, unfortunately.

          ❑▻ Personality: Outside of being trained into a soldier by his mother, Kasem loved things peaceful, much like his father and his half brother. He loved practicing the art of calligraphy, making stories and other forms of literature and painting. His father even offered him to paint murals in the throne room. His mother, the enemy of joy, insisted to have the murals painted over because they were too distracting, but luckily Kovit didn't let that happen. And despite being trained to set people on fire, Kasem did not like violence. He even wanted to just use his firebending for self defense.

                  ◦➤ His father, the only person who had ever treated him like a true son.

                  ◦➤ Calligraphy, this is his own form of relaxing.

                  ◦➤ The death of his father, it had basically traumatized him, and he even suspected too that his mother did the deed.

                  ◦➤ Literature, he likes it so much he requested his father to build a lot of libraries and make sure everyone can read.

                  ◦➤ Violence, like mentioned earlier, he wished he could just use firebending for self defense.

         ❑▻ Family history: The Jang family dated back decades and decades ago, and actually some of them, some Fire Lords weren't even firebenders. The dynasty favored wits and intelligence for perfect rulers instead of power hungry brutal ones who favored violence to rule. Kovit Jang had inherited his father's and forefathers' intelligence, thanks to him, everyone, even the poorest of the poor, were educated and were updated about every plan he has. When he was arranged with someone for him to marry, things started to get rough. The family of his wife, Onwara Jai, did not like the way Kovit rules and told their daughter to try and take control. This caused Kovit to loathe his wife even more that he decided to have an affair with someone else.

Instead of someone royal or noble, Kovit had, unintentionally, created a new line with a commoner. After being found out he had an affair, Onwara banished her husband's mistress and son. She demanded information about them from Kovit, but he refused. Out of frustration, Onwara forced her husband in a tub of water and electrocuted him, causing him to be killed so heartlessly. She immediately fled to escape the scene.

                  ◦➤ Relationship: Used to be good, but now bad. Kasem ed his mother being loving, but that was only when he was born until he was four years old. Things started to change when she decided to force him to train immediately. From that point on, the only time they were together as a son and mother, was when he was training to shoot lightning at practice dummies.

                  ◦➤ History: Onwara came from a family of nobles of the Fire Nation, they were infamous for swindling money from hospitals and schools so they can spend the funds on themselves. A pretty corrupt family. She was arranged by her father who was very close to Kovit's father before he became Fire Lord. Their relationship was terrible throughout their married life. When she badly wanted a son... She basically forced Kovit into doing the deed with her. He did not like it, at all, but she often told him that there was nothing wrong from what she did because she's a woman.

                  ◦➤ Relationship: Very good. When Kasem was born, his father spoiled with a lot more than just toys and fancy things. The both of them had spent a lot of time together, he even tried to find time out from being Fire Lord so he can spend time with Kasem. And no matter how busy he was, he always paid attention to him. During meetings, little Kasem would be allowed inside just so he can show off his art to his father! Was he reprimanded? Nope. Kovit even ordered his staff to appreciate his son's art too even during a meeting.

                  ◦➤ History: Fun fact, both of his parents are actually non benders! Rather, they were both very intelligent rulers. Kovit had inherited such great firebending skills from his grandfather who was famous for burning all buildings owned by child traffickers and black market sellers. He then replaced them with orphanages, schools and other more important buildings. When Kovit was of the right age, he was arranged to Onwara. It was his worst day ever when he was wedded to the girl. She was the most horrible wife he ever had, and he wasn't able to divorce her, unfortunately.

                  ◦➤ Relationship: Neutral. Kasem never really knew his half brother, but his father gave him a lot of information about him and even believed that both of them will be such great friends. The two had a lot in common to be honest, but he wondered why his mother had told him that Kudo was a threat to their family because she believed he was planning to steal Kasem's position as Fire Lord.

                  ◦➤ Relationship: Very close. His parents suspected they were both dating, but they were very wrong. Actually, Kasem was her wingman because she told him that she kind of had a crush on one of the palace's gardeners. They first knew each other when they were very young, at grade school to be specific. He had helped her out for an art project and both of them got high marks!
