Hey, guys, Lisa's back here with something great. A work for the last challenge! Oh I get a little emotional!

Here for I have put a lot of thoughts into it and this has now come out.

What if Ruko had agreed to Sozin's plan?

Well, we've got a pretty dicey situation here. With the Avatar at her side, the Fire Nation would be almost invincible. So they would have conquered the earth kingdom as good as they could very quickly, except for Ba Sing Se and Omashu, because of the tamers and the Wall.

But what does it say about Roku?

It would be a complete transgression of Roku's character of mercy and wisdom.

But do you have to change Roku's character that way?

No, if Zosin does it smarter he could convince Roku without changing Roku that way.

If Zosin could convince Roku that the earth kingdom is attacking her!

How? With fake attacks. For example, Zosin could use the Dai lee!

Then Roku would think he had to defend the Fire Nation. First he would try to negotiate with the earth kingdom, who of course deny this. Then he sees Roku with his own eyes and believes his old friend.

Who during Roku "protects" the fire nation, exploits it and builds colonies.

Roku marries in the meantime and gets his daughter Rina.

The volcano erupts and Zosin doesn't help Roku and betrays him again, as he finally doesn't have to play this double game.

Consequences for Aang

So let's say Roku dies and Aang becomes the new avatar, what consequences would it have?

A lot of people wouldn't trust the Avatar anymore, so the Air Normads would isolate Aang a lot to separate him from bad influences.

Anyway, the Normans want to separate him from Gyatso because they're too close and Aang will be relocated and isolated even more.

Aang doesn't want this and flees with Appa. But this time he wants to become a better Avatar, because Aang wants to show that he doesn't make the same mistakes as Roku and make up for his mistakes. [C]Therefore, Aang visits his friends Kuzon and Bumi. Thus he misses the storm that is brewing towards the southern water tribe.

He meets Kuzon and Bumi and convinces them to help him.

In the meantime, Zosin's comet comes. Since the Avatar is not so much a threat as it is in the show, the comet is not used to wipe out the airbenders, but to take Ba Sing Se and now have complete control over the Earth Kingdom.

Thus, the main base of rebellion in the Earth Kingdom will be more likely to be in Omashu. The refugees seek shelter with the air nomads.

Meanwhile, Aang's friends help Aang bending fire and earth, but he must first go to the Northern Water Tribe to learn the Elememt Water.

They meet Hokko, one of the best young waterbenders, who comes from a powerful waterbending family. And he becomes the father of Pakku ;)

Since the adults don't trust Aang, Hokko will take care of Team avatar.

What is the dynamic in Team Avatar like? Well, it will be very difficult for Hokko, who will probably take the sensible and calm role as he is the oldest. But both Bumi, Kuzon and Aang are free spirits and have only nonsense in their heads and so it will be a pretty funny group.

"Do you know what these vines would be good for," Bumi asked with a grin.

"For climbing", Aang and Kuzon asked at the same time.

"No, they would be a class disguise to scare the soldiers," Bumi proudly said.

"You're a genius," Aang exclaimed enthusiastically.

"Wait, but shouldn't we first observe their camp? And they would fall away quickly if they didn't have any ," Hokko explained calmly.

"Not if Aang and you tame them," said Kuzon laughing.

"You're both geniuses," Aang exclaimed enthusiastically.

Hokko sighed.

"Okay

What would the training look like?

So at Hokko it will be very efficient and professional to go. Aang will make fast progress.

With Bumi, Aang would still have problems, but I'm sure he has a creative idea like the arena, so Aang will explain it quickly.

Kuzon will teach Aang to do it in a fun way, but probably only teach him the normal way of taming and not the dragons, so they would go to dragons that aren't completely extinct at this point.

End of the war

So I think they would be able to stop Zosin and Azulon with the rebels and help the dragons because Aang could convince them to help them because the fire nation is a danger right now.

So peace would come where airbenders, earthbenders and waterbenders didn't have to experience such losses.

But what about the firebenders? So since the royal [C]family didn't help, none of them will probably come to the throne. Who then? I could imagine that one could then try as a presidential system with Parliament. Or you could elect a new fire lord.

Consequences for Toph, Sokka, Katara, Zuko and Suki

Toph:

Toph would stay with her family and continue to fight as a blind bandit. But at some point it gets boring and she runs away and finds her new self. Or she stays and takes over the factory of her parents.

Sokka and Katara

So to sokka, he will remain a warrior and then follow in his father's footsteps as a tribal leader.

Who knows. Maybe he will meet Yue and unite the two tribes happily.

Katara? So she will try to prove herself as a waterbender also in the northern water tribe and become a master, since she now has more teachers.

But she would probably never get to know Aang and if he dies before that, there will be a new Water Avatar...

Zuko

After the dishonor of his family, he will surely try to restore honor. If he gets new values he would never fall on the wrong track and he would never get a scar.

Who knows. Maybe he will become the new president or Firelord when he has proven himself.

Suki.

The kyoshi warriors will probably not have a good reputation, but they will always help and also rebuild everything.

But she will probably never get together with Sokka, because they won't have so much to do with each other.

Then there would be two ways.

Zuko would have switched to Team Avatar's side.

Then Iroh and Zuko would be on their side.

And Zuko still betrays Iroh.

Then like in the show.

In both cases Aang would die.

But after that?

Let's just start from case 1. Everyone would be shocked and hopeless. But the rebels won't give up. They will still try again and again to defeat the fire nation, especially during the solar eclipse. If Zuko and Iroh are there they might know where Ozai really is and stop him. And peace comes.

But the Avatar would be dead.

But someone has to do his job and this is what the white lotus does.
