How came the Outfit change

"Hey Ty Lee, what's up?" Suki asked with a frown after the training ended.

Ty Lee had just tried some acrobatic figures again and was unhappy.

"This dress, you can hardly move in it. It's too heavy and too long. Can't we try if we can use a more practical armor," Ty Lee asked with her sugary voice but with a very unhappy look.

"I mean... it's tradition," Suki muttered split in two, because she understood the point very well.

"Well, it's been a long time ago and honestly, I've been thinking about proposing something like this," said another Kyoshi Warrior.

"But who would take on such a task?", Suki then expressed her concern.

"I know someone! Don't worry, she's not far from here," Ty Lee explained excitedly.

"Fine, take us to her," Suki gave in with a smile.

Lisa worked in her forge again. After the Avatar defeated Fire Lord Ozai, there was less to do, so she offered a variety of services.

She used her fire to heat steel for castles when someone entered the shop.

"Lisa! Long time no see," Ty Lee greeted her old friend with an effusive hug.

"Ty Lee, what a surprise! I didn't expect to see you so soon," Lisa said in delight and surprise.

"You know, training with the Kyoshi Warrior and then helping other people with them. There's not much time," Ty Lee said with an apologetic smile.

Then Lisa noticed the other Kyoshi Warrior as well.

"No problem. How can I help you?" Lisa then asked with a friendly smile.

"We need more practical outfits. These are so heavy and lazy. Can you forge us some," Ty Lee asked her friend.

"Well, I still have a few orders," Lisa murmured uncertainly.

"We'll pay you as well as we can," Suki then came with a smile.

"That's not it," Lisa murmured insecurely.

"Please," Ty Lee asked her with puppy eyes.

How could Lisa resist?

"All right. I've got a few ideas," Lisa said, and looked at the Kyoshi Warrior with a prying eyes.

That's how I ended up deg this outfit! I hope you like it.

My entry

What I changed I will show you in the follwing pictures.

Outfit

As you can see the Armour is much shorter, so that the Kyoshi Worrior have more freedome of movment.

Therefor we also use a light Short and tros.

The dress and grinds representes the Girl inside the Kyoshi Worriers and the armor are for there protection, but also represents their strengh.

I also took the Samurai as an inspiration, because it suits to the inspiration of China of the Ming and Quing dynasti for the Earth Kingdom.

Hair and Make Up

As for the hair. The hair befor was more open, which is not practical for the fight. So I decided to make a more efficant and strict braid, so the hair will not effect the sight.

For better looking and as tradition, I included the accessories of the Kyoshi Worrier here, which show again the girl inside the girls, while helping in the fight.

For the make up I did an extreme change. It looks much more wild and like a worrier, which was my girl. Bur with the eyliner and lipscolor it is again a symbol for the girl inside the worrier. The green color represents their part in the Earth Kingdom, just like Kyoshi herself.

Another positive effect is that it did not take as much time to do it!

I did some other options for the hair here and an example how Suki would look like with that style. (Which I think, looks adorable)

Weapons

As you can see I took again a lot of inspiration from the Samurai. So I included the Katana , nunchakus, Sai forks, Hankyū, Tessen (here with a shield form), Kunai.

Maybe you do not know what it is and it is not that important.

The basic weapons of the Kyoshi worriers here are the Katana, so that sword, and the Tessen, so the fan for fight, which is really liked as a weapon for women worriers. But I optimised with a third form, the shield form. So you can put two fans tougether or just make them so big, that you can open it to that shield. With that you do not need to take am extra shield with you, which can be useful. And it is more portable than a normal shild.

Additionally you can take more weapons like an arrow, or nunchakus with you. It is really important that that should be an individuall decision cause some need no weapon like Ty Lee, while others are really good with Throwing knives like Mai. That makes it more productive and more confortable for theie worrier.

Ofcource most of the weapon have a green design for traditional reasons.

Final words

Well I did it... it was hard, but it was fun even if it took me over 20 hours, I am really proud of me, but also relieved that I finished it.

I did writing, editing, traditional and digital art... it was really exhausting. I used Medibag for my digital art by the way
