Amino Live PSA

As some of you already know, a new update for Amino has arrived and with this update, Amino has started implementing a Live Feature on certain devices. Medialabs runs amino now, which is the very same people who run the messaging app known as Kik.

Please DO NOT update your Amino.

We highly encourage that the update is not to be ed yet for the new feature to be avoided. Updating your amino will set this live feature in for good, and it is very important to try and ignore this. Turn off auto-updates or make sure you don't click the update button. We ask that this warning can be taken into consideration, thank you.

This update is not minor safe and does not follow along with the app's 13+ rating It hosts many live streams, a lot of which are not in the slightest bit appropriate to their guidelines, and Medialabs decided that it was wise to collaborate Kik and Amino despite the age difference and the content that will be exposed. These lives are showing NSFW content, and it’s going against the Official Community Guidelines.

The latest update also includes more intensive 18+ adverts, even if you have Amino+ you'll still be spammed with loads more Ads with this new update.

How to downgrade your Amino App

If you already accidentally updated, here's what you could do:

1. Delete your current Amino app (backup any drafts you have)

2. Google "Amino APK"

3. Install an older version of Amino through the APK websites
