Just Lost...

I’ma say it right now, I am so sorry for the

grammar and punctuation mistakes. My writing

skills are very rusty and are lowkey really bad.

Though, I did have some help with this story

from one of my talented teammates Charlie.

So this story is about Armin when he

got lost within the woods.

Honestly forgot where I was. Then, I heard a bunch of footsteps going back and forth and voices that had sounded excited. That is when I realized today was the day when we practice within the forest with our odm gear. I jumped out of bed and I put on my uniform as fast as I could.

"Armin are you ready for today's exercise?" I heard Connie ask.

I wasn't. I'm not the strongest among my friends, and I'm not proud of that. I didn't respond and decided to go get breakfast instead.

We were all ready and in our places. I was scared because I only had Jean in our group, and on top of that, my group was first. We were in a big forest instead the tinier one that's on the training field. Our goal was to get to the marker that was in the woods and fly back out within a certain amount of time. Each group contained 5 people. Each group would go one at a time. Our group was filled with anticipation for the whistle to go off, which keeps throwing me off.

Then I heard it, and I took off. That's when I realized my stance was off and I started to stumble within the air. I can’t do this now, I already failed at my take off, and now I see my group a few feet ahead of me. I fixed my stance flew up with my group, and that is when I realized they weren’t just a few feet ahead of me, because they aren’t there.

Where could they be? Did they leave me behind? No, Jean may be obnoxious sometimes he isn’t mean.

I saw a tree branch where I could calm down and see where in hell I was. I stopped and I looked around, and every tree looked different from the tiny forest on the training field. I’m getting nervous, the pit in my stomach keeps getting bigger every time I try to stop it from taking over me. The more I think, the more I feel like my team left me behind because I’m the weakest. That maybe I’m not cut out for the Survey Corps. I can feel my head spinning. No, I can’t do this now. Armin, get yourself together, no matter how you got lost, you have to find your way back! I do believe that the flag isn’t too far from the entrance of the forest, and I should be able to here the zipping noise from the odm gear. If I look at the trees I can find the little damage from the gear.

I took off and I saw the little marks within the trees, I was right. I started to zip around the trees when I heard a familiar voice.

“ARMIN! I CAN’T BELIEVE WE LOST YOU!”

I looked up and saw Jean flying towards me along with others in my group.

“Armin we’re so sorry, we thought you were with us, it’s not an excuse but-“

I chimed in,

“It’s not you fault, I stumbled with my take off and lost you guys in the process.”

“No matter what happen, I think we should hurry up and finish this exercise.” Jean explained.

I nodded and took off with my group, and this time I never stumbled with my odm gear. Maybe, I was just lost for a bit.
