oops i did it again

Ok so um Samantha

I know I just bought Julie, and I know I just got Melody, and I know she hasn't even come yet, but I was browsing OfferUp and saw this Samantha, she looked good condition but it said local pick up only so I was kind of sad for a minute, and then I looked at the location and realized it was my city! I texted the lady a few times on OfferUp and she didn't respond, but I showed my mom the listing and she said she'd seen the same one on Facebook. So I look it up and what do you know, exact same doll listed on Facebook marketplace. My mom said she was willing to bargain because she really wanted to get rid of this doll, she was originally $80 and I got her for only $50!

She's in very great condition, her hair is perfect and still has the original bow. there is a tiny orange stain on her dress and a little white scuff on her face, but that's not too big a deal to me. She even came with her original book and I thought it would be really fun to recreate the cover!

I really love these photos and I think one of them is going to be my new profile picture. I've wanted Samantha forever, ever since I started getting the AG catalog when I was in like first grade and she was released again. She was going to be my first choice before I got kit at the AG place, and I almost got her again when I went for my birthday and I ended up not getting a doll. I wanted all of my dolls to have different faces, so I kind of regretted getting kit instead of Samantha and I don't want to get rid of Kit, but I figured Samantha and kit are different enough that it's okay that they have the same face mold. Same thing with Nellie and Julie if I ever get her.

I also really want Nellie, but I think I've gotten three new dolls in such a short time that I'm going to wait, especially since holidays will be coming up in the next few months and I'll have opportunities to ask. But if and when I do get Nellie, I'm definitely stopping after that. I don't want to end up with like 15 dolls because I like all of my dolls to have their own beds and such and their bedroom and if I got way too many dolls I would need so many beds and so many more clothes and such and I wouldn't be able to give them the attention and actually play with them like I kind of do.

I mean what I don't play with dolls anymore

Anyway yeah everyone meets Samantha Eleanor Parkington!
