And here you have it folks!

my attempt at a sort of "spacefury" or "starfury" or what you would call it.

If there is any questions about the species, do ask, itll be added to this post in a QNA section later so yeah :D

Also they are a completely open Fury species, you can make as many as you would like to have without payment or permissions of sorts

What do their relationships with their trainers tend to look like?

Since they are able to move so fast they're hard to see, would riding one not be plausibly safe due to [ci]the G-force? Or, would there be a specialized type of riding apparatus to at least minimize the danger [ci]from the speed?

What are their lifespans, and how long is each stage of their lives? (Ie: Baby, teen, adult, elder, [ci]ancient(?) )

Does their heat 'consumption' harm the creature they conduct it from, or just make them chilly? If so, [ci]how does that reaction look?

1. Stardevourers tend to stay close to their trainers, due to humans having a general low body temperature, Stardevourers can hardly acknowledge them, they stay close in fear of loosing them. They also tend to be quiet stoick creatures around humans and other liveforms due to their "vision" but if one does trust you enough it might act more playful amd mischivious in private and safety

2. it DOES get dangerous to ride them past a dangerous speed!it is possible to ride them by making a fullbody suit out of their "scales", which can be done humanely, like reptiles they tend to shed them as they grow since its quiet the solid surface.

3. That is sadly unknwon knowledge due to the fact they get raised in the dephs of the hidden world but seeing as they survived in the ashes of burned down world post-meteor they do seem to mature quiet quickly, not a 24 hour thing but they definetly would have a similar growth rate to a deathsong, their livespans are considerably longer than average, ranging in the 100'000 year range because they dont have DNA that composes (or well, the DNA we are familiar with)

4. Oh that draining kills them. Peeeeer internal hypothermia. It robs them off their body temperature to the point where blood freezes and that usually finishes the deal if it hasnt already at waterfreezing temperatures. outwardly there is no reaction much, dieing of hypothermia is very much falling asleep so its pretty anti-climatic

Oooo, okay! Further on the 3rd point, how would that differ in species that specifically have anti-freeze blood, like a skrill, since they are known to survive being frozen in ice for years on end? And would they leave a species with a lower natural body temperature alone, even if that species with a low body heat tended to be larger?

Skrills are a bit finicky on it

species like that CAN survive the initial drainage yes but since they are essentially left paralyzed due to their body protocol they can easely be taken out by other dragons or nature or what else, while it would definetly work in their favour, the dragon would still slow down until their body gains enough energy to heat back up again

They will infact leave larger species with lower body temperature alone. Since their vision is heat and heat absent based. thats why they have such issues acknowledging humans. They only tend to go for warmer and bigger bodies because they have en easier time latching on. Hatchlings may go for smaller bodies with higher temperature because they can still latch on and its worth it, bigger specimen may not though.
