My eyes fluttered open. It had been a long day yesterday, not to mention the stress of Oracle’s vision. I shook it off.
I can’t do anything about that vision yet, so I shouldn’t worry about it.
Of course, there was the option of telling someone else… but how would that help? No one else could do anything about it.
I stretched, then paused, standing up straight and alert. Something was wrong. The air was damp as if it had been raining, and this freezing breeze drifted in from the entrance of my den. The entrance to my den was this unnatural blinding white.
What’s going on?
I thought, cautiously stepping outside.
My paw hit something hard for a moment before plunging through the shell. I flinched in surprise, drawing my now freezing paw back.
What. Is. This.
The outside world was covered in white as far as the eye could see. White stuff was literally falling from the sky, and I felt the cold particles melt after landing on me.
It’s like rain, but cold and on the ground?
Wait a minute… “Just before the first snowfall, we hold the Autumn Festival at the Sacred Temple." That's what Savannah said, and now it's been a few days since the Autumn Festival.
So THIS is snow.
I shuddered, before continuing to go outside.
Do some cats actually like this?
MEANWHILE…
A cat was pacing at the Sacred Temple, his fluffy black-and-white fur dotted with snowflakes. He stared up at the sky, squinting from the snow. He narrowed his eyes, focused for a moment, before finally making a decision.
He left, his pawprints leaving a trail in the snow headed towards Mystic Colony Territory.
