Hello everybody!!! I'm finally coming around of writing stories again. I just been busy with school and I been practicing with my digital drawing. I want to improve myself, I can give you guys better covers for these kind of stories. This is my very first full pack series, where you'll be getting many chapters and names of the chapters. I been waiting for this for so long. Thanks to school, I was a little set back. I'm still busy with school but I'll at least give you guys chapter 1 of this series that I presented a long time ago. At least you guys get some taste of this story until I can write more chapters.
I been focus on school lately, having to focus on paying attention to school and having teachers that give me stress, including a headache. It's been a little much at time to time. I also been practicing with my digital drawing lately as well. I wanted to get better at making covers. This is why the cover is different than the one that I presented earlier on. I wanted to make it better and make it look like that I improved a little, not much but at least show some progess. So, that's what I also been doing all this time. Lastly, I lost some motivation to write or post anything at the time. The only things that I be posting is fanart, challenges, and birthday shutouts. But, I'm back to post more stories. I hope you guys like this chapter. Please and thank you so much ladies and gentlemen!!!

Once upon a time, a man with no name walked throughout the four nations of the world. He had nowhere to go and nowhere to stay. He had no place to call home. No place to give himself some kind of comfort. All he could do is to roam across the four nations. He walked for days, with no food or water. Those days turned into weeks and eventually turned into months. He still didn't eat or drink anything to keep himself alive. But being a nobody, he didn't need water or food, all he needed was the big empty void that he had inside his chest, where his heart is at. He felt nothing, only hearing the echoes of the void that was living inside of him. The more he walked, the less he felt like a human being. He didn't feel human anymore, he felt like nothing. He was nothing, he had no name for himself. All he had was his body with no vessel to occupy his insides. He felt that he should've never been born in the first place if he was going to be an empty shell of a nobody.
The man held himself like it was nothing, keeping his arms close, positioning them to where his heart use to be. He wished that he felt something, anything to feel any emotion of anything. He's been out in the middle nowhere for many months now with nothing to find for himself. The man walked through the dry sand, feeling the sand get between his toes of his feet. He took every step like he knew that he wasn't going anywhere special to find because deep down inside, he knew that nothing can save him from his dark past. The man's past followed him everywhere he went to. He saw his past at every corner that he can spot. He hoped and prayed that they would go away but his prays were never answered. He could still hear them on the other side, calling out for him. He held his arms closer to his chest, tightened his grip on his arms, and keeping them close to chest.
These voices that he hears get louder at ing day. The voices get louder and louder in the man's ears almost driving him insane. But, the man kept himself calm. He couldn't let these voices his past, get the better of him. He can't let them win, not now and not ever. He'll fight them no matter what. He won't let his inner demons beat him down. He'll keep fighting until his last dying breath. The man ignored the voices that were growing louder, keeping himself at pace. This was a way for him to keep his insanity in check. It was the only way for him to be at some peace. The man kept on walking with the voices still talking to him through his ear or maybe, inside his ear. He didn't let that thought get into his wipe so he thought of another thought that will bring him joy ot at least make him forget about the voices that were still haunting him.
The man focused with all of his might to think of another thought and he would try to think of an happy thought for sure. He was so tired of thinking of all the bad thoughts that kept om appearing in his head. He couldn't handle it anymore. He tried his hardest to think of something calm and sweet but unfortunately he couldn't think any at that moment. All those bad thoughts kept on appearing. No matter how hard he tried to keep those bad thoughts away, they still manage to appear in his head. It was hard to get rid of them especially when they speak louder than his own voice. His thoughts fight over his voice, keeping down on his knees. Every bad deed he has committed was his own fault. Everything thay he did is his fault. He had free will to do whatever he wanted to do.
He turned a good cause into a bad act, causing pain and suffering to everybody. Instead of doing right, he did more bad than he attended to do. Everything that he did became violence. Everything that he spoke out about turned into a fight. Everything that he believed in turned into a bad cause. Everything that he does turns bad. Everything that he touched turn into aalt. Even by a single finger turns into salt a grain of salt. He always managed to turn everything that he touches into complete salt. He was salted all the way, ever since he was born. Everything in his life was just pain and suffering. Being abused by your own father left scars on him that will never heal. No matter how hard he tried to get rid of those scars, they just get bigger. His scars have never gone away. He tried everything in his power to heal those scars but nothing worked, those scars will forever be imprinted onto his body. It was truly sad to never get rid of your past. His past will never leave his side, no matter where he runs too, his past will always follow me.
He prayed to the gods to heal him from his pain and suffering but that didn't work either for him. The pain and suffering that he had with him was still there besides him. He wished that thw gods will hear his prays, even the spirits to help him on his journey of finding true purpose in his life hut they didn't help him either. He was stuck on the path that he knew nothing about and he was truly scared about that. He thought to himself, 'Was I truly suppose to be alive," questioning about his existence and life in general. He had nothing to live for. He had nothing about himself to keep on going but yet he keeps going. He has nobody by his side which every relationship he ever had, he always managed to ruin it. Everytime he has a relationship with somebody, he always breaks it off and ruins it for himself, leaving him with nobody to talk to. He thought he had nothing and nobody with him just because he always ruined it for himself.
He use to have a happy life when he was 6 before he turned 8 years old. That's when everything changed when he discovered he was a waterbender. He was overjoyed that he was a waterbender but that changed when his father put him through hard training that felt like torture everytime he use to be under his father's care. His father changed him, not for good but for the worse. His father turned him into a weapon of revenge, a weapon that would destroy the Avatar once and for all. He didn't want to be a weapon of vengeance, he didn't want to fight the Avatar. He knew very well that the Avatar was above him, more powerful than he could ever think of being. So, instead of facing his father, he ran like a coward just like his father. He ran away from all of his problems, thinking that he can out run them but instead those problems followed him all the way to now. Nothing that he brings will never be good and that's what he was cursed of.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
For 4 days, the man has been walking in the middle of nowhere without food or water. He kept on going, keeping his posture straight but keeping his head down. He was looking down at the ground where his feet were at. He was staring at his feet, watching them move. He watched his feet take each step to where ever his legs were taking him too. He silll had no idea where he was going and when he'll get there but one thing he knew for sure, he just needed to keep going. He needed to keep on walking and that's all he knew at that time was just keep on going. He had nowhere to go but he kept on going to anywhere that he'll end up at. He just hopes that he doesn't meet anybody who he'll end up getting close to or he meets people who they'll end up becoming his enemy in the future.
He doesn't want anymore enemies in his life, he already has enough in his life. He didn't want to make friends with anybody, he doesn't want them to get hurt in the end because of him. He thought that he has hurt to many people in his life. He wants to keep himself away from people in order to keep them save and himself save as well from them. He didn't want anymore pain and suffering to anybody else and for what, a pointless cause that will end up falling apart in the end and destroy everybody's good time and wonderful life. He doesn't want to disturb anybody and destroy anything that is beautiful to people. Even though he found nothing beautiful, he doesn't want to take that joy from people just like his father did in the past even before he was born, his father was always a criminal in society.
While the man was walking in the middle of nowhere, he started to think about all of his life choices. The choices that he choose a long time that led him to this spot at the moment. He thought far back to his childhood, where all the pain and suffering started in his life. But it wasn't just him who was suffering in silence and grieving over the pain that was contained inside of his heart. He almost forgot that he wasn't the only one. He hated himself everytime he focused on only his pain and not other people's pain especially the ones that he cares about the most. It pained him so much that he never did anything to help the people that he cared about in his life and he never treated the people who cared about him right. It was like the tables have turned about paying back somebody and them paying you back for all the good deeds you have done.
But, he never did anything good for the people who cared about him. He never did any good deeds in his life even when he was just a child, he never did any good to anybody or too himself. Before, he always thought of himself as a good kid who was good at everything including his own waterbending but later in his life, he started to think that he was wrong about himself even when he went into a depression in his teenager years, he thought he was good at everything that he touched. Everything that he did, he thought it was right but now he was an adult, he knew none of those deeds that he did were wrong. Those deeds that he did in his past have hurt many people that he cared about and led them to a sad and dark path that he forced them to go by. He felt bad for them and wish he could've done better. He wish he was better, he did better, said better, and thought better about his life choices. He ruined everything in his life and everybody else who was around him or connected to him.
As he kept on walking in the middle of nowhere, the man than lifted his head to look at the sky. He was looking down at the ground for a while so he decided to look at the sunny and bright blue sky where thw white fluffy clouds are at and the shining sun at beaming onto Earth. But, the moment he looked up at the sky, it changed from day to night. The man's eyes widened, shocked that it was already night time. Time has ed so much, he didn't even notice that it was already night. He still thought that it was day time but now it was night. He was so stuck in his own thoughts and regrets, he lost track of time. He blamed himself for losing track of time and for getting stuck in his own mind and listening to his own thoughts and regrets that kept om repeating in his head like an endless loop of pain, suffering, and regret; so much regret.
The man saw the beautiful shining stars in the nightsky and the moonlight that was beaming onto him. It was quite an beautiful site to look at especially the legend of The Lady who turned into the moon. That story always got the man even though he didn't really believe the story, he liked a few stories that were just legend or a fun story to tell kids when they go to bed. It was a nice story that his mother use to tell him and his younger brother. His younger brother always use to out when their mother was halfway done with the story. He ed that about his younger brother doing when they were young. But the man, when he was a little boy he always use to stay up until his mother was done telling the story of the lady of the moon. He always loved his mother telling him about the story. He was alway intrigued about the story even though it was fake and just a legend, he always loved to bond with his brother about the story of the lady on the moon. It was truly a one of a kind story that kids hear before they go to sleep.
The man smiled at the bright moon. He gave a little wave at the bright moon, giving a sign of Hello to the bright beautiful moon. He didn't know why he did it but he just wanted some comfort that somebody was watching over him. The man looked at the bright moon for a while before starting his walk again. He still didn't know where he was heading but all he knew was just keep going. He'll eventually find somewhere that he can stay or maybe at least make it his home for a while until he can get up om his feet again. He needed somewhere to sleep and rest his body, he was really tired and hungry too. He hasn't eaten anything for a while. He was hoping when he found a little cave or an abandoned cabin, there's a pond somewhere that he can hunt for fish or fruit trees in order for him to pick some fruit out.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
The man walked through the desert, it was pitch black. It was night time even though morning was coming around, it was still dark. He was getting tired and hope that he finds a cave a cabin anywhere. He just needs to sleep and rest him body for a while even if it's for a short period of time. When it felt like hours, he finally saw something from the distance. It looked like a tiny spec of a something but he couldn't make out what it was. He kept on walking until he got close enough to tell what he was looking at. He was hoping it was what he was looking for. After days of walking, without food or water or even resting, he was hoping that it was a cabin or at least a cave that lead underground. He walked faster when he started to see a form of a little cabin appearing. He was hoping that it wasn't his own imagination or his eyes were playing tricks on him.
Fortunately, it was what he was looking for. It was a little cabin, it was the very thing that he was looking for. His eyes lit up and his feet started to move faster. It was like he was almost running to the little cabin. He ran faster until he got close enough to the cabin. Once he was infront of the cabin, he stared at the cabin before walking to the door. He took a couple of steps towards the cabin door until he was infront of the door. He stared at the door before knocking. He wanted to check if anybody lived in the cabin but by the looks of it, it was abandoned. There was no lights on and the there was overgrown grass all over the landscape. He waited at the door, thinking that there could be people inside the cabin, sleeping in their beds.
It took him 5 minutes, waiting at the door for anybody to open the door but nobody didn't open the door. So, the man took a deep breath in before he opened the door. He took a small peak inside before opening the door widely, leaving him a whole space to come inside of the cabin. He stepped inside of the cabin and took a look around the place. The livingroom only had a couch, a rocking chair, a small table, and a fireplace. There was barely wood for the fireplace but enough for only one night. There were some candles with sticks and rocks to light them up. The man took a closer step inside the cabin. He saw there was a short hallway that had a small bathroom and a small bedroom with only a matt on the floor with a pillow. There was even a small kitchen there that had all the cooking tools but there was no food so he might go out and find some food. There wasn't even water either inside the cabin so he might have to find water later on.
But right now, at that moment, he just wanted to sleep and rest his whole body. He wanted to asleep in the bedroom but seeing that there wasn't a bed and just a dirty mattress. He rather go sleep on the couch that was in the livingroom. He looked around to see if there were blankets around and maybe some fresh pillows that he can use. He found a lot of clean blankets under the couch but he only found a decent clean pillow for him to lay his head on. He went to lay the pillow on the couch and he grabbed the blanket. He went on the couch, sitting up, and looked over at the fireplace. He stared at the fireplace, seeing that it hasn't been used for quite a while. He can tell that it hasn't been use for a couple of months now. So, whoever lived in the cabin left in a hurry and they abandoned the cabin. The place wasn't cold and the light was arriving so he went to sleep on the couch, covering himself with the blanket, and laying his head on the decent clean pillow.
His head was placed onto the pillow, putting him under a spell of slumber. He sighed before closing his eyes. He waited until he drifted off into his slumber. Overtime, it felt like hours until he finally asleep in his own sleep. Once he fell asleep into his sleep, he felt that his spirit was being lifted off from his body and flying in the sky. He felt wind hitting him, mostly in his face. His slightly long hair was flowing in the wind. His eyes were closed so he couldn't see what was in front of him but it felt calm and smooth to him. It was so nice, he didn't want to open his eyes. He didn't want to wake up from his dream. His sleep was putting him in a sweet and calm dream that he wish he can stay in forever. He has done so much bad things in his life, he didn't want to go back to reality, into the real world. The reality world that he messed up so much in his life, ruining everybody's lives including his own life.
While he was going deeper into his slumber, he thought of all the possibilities that could've been if he had done things differently in his life. He thought about his childhood, his teenager years, and finally adulthood. He thought of different outcomes that he could've changed or never done anything about. What would his life be if he had the chance to chance it for the better for others and himself? He thought about this for quite while. Flying in the air of his deepest dreams. He thought of so many outcomes that could've ended up being better or could've been more worse than it was now. But, what mattered is that he wanted to see all the different outcomes that could've worked in his favor while making them or was about to make them. Every choice counts and it changes your life forever. It can be for the better or it can be work for thw worse. Either way, both ways, have to be chosen. But what counts is that which path the person chooses and decides to follow it to the very end or changes their mind and turn turn a different direction. The many what ifs can change each version of you for a better life or for a worse life than the person has now.
The many outcomes that the man thought about always had a bad ending or came out bad or worse. Some were okay and some were not as good as others. Some had really bad endings while other endings were even worse than the bad endings that came to his mind. He also started to think his beginning, where it all started. His starter outcomes were okay but they weren't good. Some of those outcomes became bad, like it came out of a nightmare. A nightmare that he was happy that never happened. There were some beginnings thay had starters that he died or his younger brother died on him or because of his father's abuse and neglect. There were even some starters that animals attacked them and ended their lives or the wolves that killed them, ending their lives as well. He never thought that could ever happen to him or his younger brother but they were all possible outcomes that could've happened if he choose certain pathways for him to lead himself too. But, it didn't matter now. He choose his own path and now he has to see it through until the very end of his life.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
Later that night, the man was finally asleep on the couch. He was ed out cold. No sound can wake him up but he was also alarmed to so he can keep himself safe from anybody who caused who danger. He rested upon the couch, covered in his blanket, and his head on the pillow. Nothing was happening at that moment. Everything seemed calmed and quite, it was all peaceful. Until, a noise occurred out of nowhere inside the cabin. The man didn't shoot up from the couch yet but he did hear it. The noise sounded like creaking which alarmed him at first but than again, it could be just the cabin. A place like a cabin makes a lot of noise so he rested himself once again, going back into his deep sleep. He thought nothing about it so he made himself comfortable again ans slept for a few more hours until morning came around the corner.
During those few hours, the noise that the man was hearing felt like it was getting closer to him but he didn't feel any of their movements or anything out of the ordinary. It was like nobody wasn't there in physical form but maybe in spirit form they were getting closer to him by each step they take. He didn't move himself and wake himself up to see what was happening around him but if he didn't feel that anybody was inside of the cabin with him than there was no danger. It could be just the cabin making noise or tricking him so he won't wake himself up to see what was coming towards his way so he brought himself back to sleep. He shrugged it off like it's nothing and was back to sleep in the matter of minutes.
The man was sleeping peacefully on the couch. The morning was almost close to setting. He wanted to sleep more but whenever the morning comes, he'll just sleep in, and wake up whenever he wants to. He wasn't really going anywhere at that moment. He already found it which was the cabin so he didn't worry much. He slept on the couch for as long as he wanted too. At that moment, it was already 5 o'clock. The sun hasn't rose up yet to set the sunlight onto the land but the sun was coming soon. Time was never on the man's side, it never was. Everything went so fast for him even though at one moment of his own time, he thought that he can at least slow down time on his side for the time being. But in reality, he could never do that. He didn't have that kind of power, never had the ability to slow down time. Nobody doesn't have that type of power. Time is never on anybody side, it never was, and it never will be. Time will always do its own commands, nobody else but time itself.
The man was sleeping on the couch for about 30 minutes before he heard a foot stomp onto the creaky wood floor of the cabin. He stood himself up, waking himself up to see what made the stomping step. He looked around the living and saw nothing. He didn't see nobody around him. His senses weren't going off. He even used his special bending technique to sense a person's body movements but nothing appeared out of the normal. But, he knew something was wrong. He knew that something was really odd it's just he can't explain what he was hearing around him. It sounded like somebodybis getting closer to him but there was no one at sight. He knew something was wrong and he wanted to see what was happening.
What was he hearing?
Now, he can't really go back to sleep on the couch due to hearing human footsteps coming closer towards him but he can't see who it is and what was going on. He kept himself up fpe the hour. It was already 6 o'clock and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Everything seemed normal, nothing happened during that time. It was relieved but he was still alert about his surroundings. Just in case that it happened again, it'll be ready to see what was coming towards him. So, at the time being, he went back to sleep onto the couch. For the past 15 minutes, it was quiet. But it was to quiet, it was strange on how it was really quiet. Not a sound occurred, not even the ones that are normal. It was blank out of sounds and noises. It brought the man to his edge and a bit scared of how quiet it was around him. It was making him unease about the quietness and the unknown.
After quite awhile, the man stayed up. He kept his eyes open and sharp at every corner of the room. He looked at every spot ofnthe livingroom, keeping himself aware of his own surroundings. He couldn't lay down on the bed so he sat on the couch instead. It was much easier for him to watch everything inside the cabin. He didn't want to lose his consecration. Besides, he was unease of his surroundings, he couldn't make himself comfortable again so it was best for him to keep himself awake and sitting on the couch. It was for the best. He wanted to sleep some more but he couldn't bring himself to go back sleep on the couch. He still kept himself awake and sitting up on the couch. He kept om watching each corner of the livingroom until the sun rose up.
It felt like forever for the sun to finally rise up and hit his face with the warm sunlight thay the sun brings every morning. It prayed to God and the buddas for the sun to finally come and that he won't be harmed. He doesn't know why he was praying of he was afraid. He had waterbending on his side, he had combat skills, fighting experience, bending techniques, and a powerful bending style; he's the last person who should be afraid. But deep down, he knew that it could be a force that he can't fight even with his sub- bending style, he won't be able to protect himself from this unknown force that was all around him. It was starting to feel a form of fear. He tried to keep himself calm until the time being. He sat on the couch, holding his hands together, closing his eyes, and praying. At that moment, the force was getting closer to him. Now, it felt like the force was right behind his back. It was ready to touch him on his shoulder but it managed to touch his ear before the sun rose up. Once the sun rose, the force was gone but it left a freezing chill that will affect the man along his path.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
The man was focused on his praying, he didn't notice that the unknown force was finally gone within the cabin. Once he felt that it was safe, he opened his eyes, ans looked around his surroundings. He saw nothing but at frost at the back of the couch. There was even frost on the wooden floor. He stood up from the couch and observed the frost on the floor. He laid his finger on the frost, feeling a chill go up his spine. He pulled his finger back before he got a reflection of his lightly long hair going into his frame of his eyesight. He looked at his lack of hair and grabbed it. He looked at it for a minute, taking a closer look at it. He became confuse and dumbfounded of how his finger lack of hair changed from dark brown to a pure white color. It was as the color of snow, the most white of snow. It wad pure white, no color can blend in. He stood up, looking at his lack of white hair. He titled his head before letting the lack of his hair go from his fingers.
"This has to be from old age. I am in my forties after all. That's around the age that people usually get white hair. Right?"
The man asked himself, convincing that it could be just old age getting to him but deep down, he knew that it wasn't the case. He shook his head and brought his mind straight forward. He went to the kitchen, hoping that he can find a broom or a mop to clean the ice from the floor or at least a cloth to wipe down the frost on the couch. He went inside the kitchen and tried to find what he was looking for. The kitchen was slightly cold when he went inside. It looked normal like how he left it but something seemed different. It had some things moved around and other items that were added that he didn't putting or seeing when he first went inside the cabin. The man saw a cup on the counter that had freshly poured water in. The cup of water was right next to a jar which wasn't there earlier. Lastly, he saw a dust print of where the mop use to be but now it was gone, it disappeared.
The man was confuse. How did the mop go missing? Who brought this cup? Who poured fresh water in the cup? Where did the jar come from? So many questions kept on appearing in his head. He couldn't keep track of all his questions. But than, he had jo answers for those questions. Just more questions coming to his head. None of it made sense. Who was here last night? Who was it? How did he not notice any movements within the cabin? How did he not detect anybody in the cabin with him? None of it made sense. His senses would've warned him that somebody was with him inside the cabin while he was sleeping on the couch last night. He knew that somebody was inside the cabin with him but he couldn't prove that anybody came inside. There was no proof whatsoever. Something was wrong but he couldn't explain how or what or even why. It made no sense to him and that was the first time he ever felt like this.
Since the mop was gone, he had to take the broom instead to swipe off the ice that was on the wooden floor. Meanwhile, he was still searching for the cloth to wipe off the frost that was on the couch. He searched in every cabinet and the closet to find it but the cloth was nowhere to be found. He swear that he saw it when he first arrived at the cabin. He was confused and wondered where the cloth was at so he searched out of the kitchen. He didn't know why he was searching for the cloth outside of the kitchen but he had a feeling that the cloth was going to be somewhere else inside the cabin. He looked in every room that the cabin had. He looked in the livingroom and he looked through the hallway. He looked inside of the bathroom. It was the one place that he thought that the cloth was going to be but it wasn't in the bathroom either.
The man left the bathroom before seeing a deep fog that was covering the bathroom mirror. He looked over at the mirror and put his finger onto the mirror. He wiped his finger on the mirror and tranced the fog of the mirror. He took his finger off the mirror and looked at his finger, seeing the water on his single finger. He looked at the window that was inside of the bathroom. He saw that the window was shut closed, no wind or moisture could come inside of the bathroom to cause the fog on the bathroom mirror. He walked up to the window and opened it, peaking his head out. He looked outside, seeing the land. It was truly beautiful when the sun was out and beaming onto the land. He brought his head back inside of the bathroom and closed the window, locking it.
He walked over towards the door and was about to leave the bathroom before he took a glimpse of himself in the mirror but he saw something in the mirror that didn't look like him whatsoever. He stopped at his tracks and looked over at the reflection of the mirror to see himself. He walked closer to the mirror and wiped off the fog that was covering the whole mirror besides the streak on the mirror that he wiped off with his finger earlier before he checked the window. Once he wiped off the wet fog that was on the mirror, he looked at his reflection. All he saw was his own reflection. He thought that he saw somebody else in the mirror besides him. He came closer to the mirror to take a closer look at it. All he saw was his strip of white hair that was with his brown hair and then the strange Aqua Blue color on his left eye. These strange features that he had don't have any reasonable explanations on how he got them in the first place.
He sighed at his reflection. He thought he was going crazy, which he has but he hasn't fully come to with it yet. He was just seeing things again. He slapped his forehead, rubbing his eyes before he opened the water from the sink. He used his hands to form a bowl. Water spilled into his hands and he lifted his hands to splash the water onto his face. He kept on splashing water in his face a couple of times before he closed the water faucet and used a little towel on that placed on a little hook that was right next to him. He used the little towel and wiped his face with it. He put back the little towel back on the hook and he was about to turn to the door. But that's when he heard a voice calling out for him. A name that he thought he was never worthy having anymore. He heard the voice again and it sounded like it was coming from the mirror so he turned to look. Instead of seeing his reflection in the mirror, he saw a pale lady with complete white hair and pale skin. She had frost all over her upper body and her long hair was covering her eyes but not her lower face. She smiled at the man and gave a sonic scream that knocked out the man cold.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
It was pitch black. It was full of darkness. There was nothing around. It was cold, very cold. It was icy cold. It was so cold, no movement can be seen. The cold was stopping everything in its tracks. It was like the cold was stopping time itself for a while. Before, the cold started to form into snow. Snowflakes were falling from the dark sky and it was hitting the floor. The snowflakes were forming snow. Eventually, in the matter of minutes, it was already a winter wonderland but instead of it being magical it was very eerie. Something felt off, it felt wrong. It felt like there was something or someone hiding in the snow. It was like a wolf waiting for its prey, waiting for the right time to strike at the perfect time. There were even trees starting to appear out of nowhere. The trees were appearing within the darkness and blending with the snow and the snowflakes.
After a few moments later, the man eventually started to wake up. He was laying on the floor where the snow was almost covering him whole. He slowly lifted himself up from the ground and he stood up. He wobbled s bit but he kept himself up without falling back onto the ground again. He gained his conscience but his eyesight was a bit blurry. He rubbed his eyes, hoping that he can see a bit better. He looked around his surroundings. He was wondering how he even got to this place in the first place. He felt something was off, really off. If he has to be honest, he was a bit fearful about the situation. He had never felt this type of fear I'm his life. It felt like that his life was in danger but from what? Why was he in danger? What was putting him in danger? How is he in danger? He asked these questions to himself. He was thinking of what to do and how to get out of here but than, he heard a sound. A sound that brought a chill up his spine and shot to his left eye.
He gasped in pain, using his left arm to covering his left eye. The eye that had changed color over time. He almost fell back to the ground again but he positioned himself fo fall on his knees on the ground instead of his whole body falling back to the snowy ground once more. He leaned himself to his knees and almost touching the ground. He was covering his left eye, clutching at it in pain. He was wincing and almost shed a tear from his right eye. The man begged for the pain to leave him but it seemed like the pain wanted to stay with him until the time being. He tried to lift his head up and take a peak of his surroundings again but the pain was to strong, his head fell back to the ground, and he was still holding onto his left eye. The pain was to strong. This pain was becoming stronger by the minute. It was even starting to increase by the second.
"P-p-please, stop this at o-on-once. It h-hu-hur-hurts. I can't t--ta-take th-this. P-please st-stop i-it n-no-now."
The man begged, over and over again. He couldn't take it anymore but there was nothing he can do. There was nothing he can help himself. There was nothing around him that can help him stop the pain or at least ease the pain for the time being until he can find proper care for himself or find somebody that can help him with the pain thay was increasing in his left eye. At that time, the man felt that his left eye wasn't his own eye anymore. It felt like it was somebody else's left eye. He finally gained the strength to lift his body up from the ground and stood on his knees. He looked at the dark sky, still covering his left eye. He slowly but carefully took his left hand off his left eye. Once his hand was off of his eye, he was stilling looking at the dark sky.
The eye that the man uncovered felt off. There was no more pain but now his left eye felt like it was not apart of him anymore. His left eye was no more connected to his body, mind, and his spirit. His eye belonged to somebody else but to who? Maybe, he was just thinking crazy, maybe his eye was still blurry from the knock out. That's when it hit him, literally, a snowball hit him at the back of his head. He turner around, sharply, to see who threw a snowball at his head. But, when he turned to see who it was, he couldn't see anybody. He backed away, holding both of his arms close to his chest. He called out to the person who threw the snowball at him but nobody didn't respond but the wind responded back to him. A heavy wind hit him, blowing his slightly long hair in the wind.
But than, it hit him. This time, a snowball didn't hit him. A thought came to his mind. A thought that he ed about the incident back in the bathroom and the foggy mirror. He ed seeing a woman in the mirror. But, who is she? He's never seen her in his life or what he can . He was a bit scared at that moment. He wanted to leave from this place immediately but that wasn't his main problem that occurred. He swear that he saw a shadow cross by him in the snowy forest. He saw the shadow with the corner of his right eye, the only eye that he can still see with. He turned his head to see what the shadow was but he couldn't see it. He didn't see on time. He only had one good eye at that moment. His left eye was now useless to him. He couldn't see anything with his left eye so he had to depend on his right eye for the time being.
He was hoping that this was some kind of nightmare that he was stuck it. He hopes that the moment he wakes up from his slumber that he has both of his eyes. He can see properly or decent with both of his eyes, both his right and his left eyes. He needed his eyesight and if he was going to have a very long trip of finding his own place in the world, he needed both of his eyes to see where his going. The shadow that he saw was getting closer to him. He backed away, looking down at the ground. He was hoping that he can find a large stick to protect himself. He couldn't find any large sticks. He didn't even find small sticks. There were also no rocks on the ground for him to through anything at this shadow figure. It was like The Night Stalker all over again. When the man saw the shadow in front of him, he freaked out. He had no weapons of some kind to help him against this shadow. Once he saw the shadow walking towards him, he knew he needed to do something before it launches at him, and attacks him.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
The man was face-to-face with the shadow. He didn't know what to do but all he knew is that he needed to do something and he needed to do it fast. The shadow appeared to desire to attack him but it was waiting for the perfect moment to strike at him. He can't give the shadow the opportunity to attack him whenever it was ready to strike at him. He had no weapon to defend himself and he couldn't use his sub-style bending against the creature. This creature wasn't made out of flesh, blood, and even bones. It was a shadow, a shadow that is caused from the reflection of the light. The light causes a overcast of a dark shadow. There wasn't even light in this forest, it was completely over covered by darkness. If if wasn't for the white snow, there won't be any source of sight to see through the dark.
At the meantime, the shadow creature was getting closer to the man. His body was shaking, he was afraid. He has never encountered a creature like this in his life. Even when he was out on hid own at the age of 14 years old, he never meant spirits of any kind. He knew he lied to people that he was gifted by the spirits but in reality, he never meant one. This brought fear to his heart and soul. But he can't let fear overtake him. He needed to leave, he needed to get out of there. He needed to run as fast as he could and hopefully he finds somewhere safe to hide. But, how can he distract this shadow creature? He needed to find an opportunity to give himself to run away. He thought for a moment but very quickly. He looked at the snow which gave him a idea. He slowly brought his hand towards the snow. He never let go of his gace with the shadow creature even though it didn't have eyes.
He hoped and prayed that the creature doesn't flinch or growl at him or anything that gave a clear message to the creature that the man was trying to give himself an opportunity to run off from it. Good thing is that the creature never also let go of its gace from the man's eyes so it was a perfect time to distract the creature for the time being. His hand was now on the ground, laying gently onto the white snow. He took a deep breath and grabbed a hand full of snow and brought back his hand to him. He lifted himself off the ground and stood up, holding the snow in his hand. He stared at the shadow creature before he looked at the snow in his hands. He took another breath in before gaining all of his strength and threw the snow at the creature's face at top speed. Once the snow hit the creature in the face, it growled and barked at the man. He shook its head in order to take the snow off the creature's face. The creature was now angry and it wanted to attack the man more than ever before.
The man took this opportunity to run away before the creature gained focus again. The man took off without hesitation. He ran off as fast as he could. All he thought about was getting away from the shadow creature. He didn't want to be attacked by this thing, he wanted to run away. While he was running away, he looked around him to see if there was a tall tree that he can climb on or a cave that he can hide in or at least a hole that he only can fit in. Even find a cabin or a house that he can get help or lock himself in until the shadow creature loses interest of him or gives up on finding him and attacking him. But, he didn't see anything that can save him at that moment. It seemed that there was nowhere to hide but just run. He thought to himself in fear and devastation.
'I can run but nowhere to hide.'
He told himself, feeling weak. But, he can't think that way. If he keeps on thinking negative, he won't make it out of this alive. He didn't want to be attacked by a shadow creature so he just kept his mind calm and decided to keep on running away from the shadow. He can't let it get to him. He needed to escape and find somewhere safe to hide. He ran through the dark forest, trying to find a hiding place for himself to hide in. While he was running, he heard it. He heard the creature howl in the distance. It sounded that the creature has started to go on the move which made the man worry more than he was before. He kept running through the forest as fast as he could but the snow was slowing him down even more. He could barely run properly but he had to keep moving. He had to keep running. It was his life that was on the line.
The man ran through the forest before he heard the creature getting closer to him. Every step that the man was taking, the shadow creature sounded that it was closer to him than it was before. He ran faster but it was no use, the creature was near by. It could be 2 miles away from him or maybe 1 mile. He begged and prayed that this creature doesn't get him but there it was, he can now see it from the distance. Before, it was far away from him but now it was closer than it was. He can now see the creature running faster towards him. He gasped, holding his breath and keeping his screams in. He didn't want to alert the creature more than it already was now. He freaked out, running away from the creature. He kept om looking for spots for him to hide but there was still nowhere to run or hide. When he looked back at the creature, it started to form into a wolf. A Dark wolf that now had glowing Aqua Blue eyes.
That color, it was the same color that he has on his left eye. He brought his hand and placed it onto his left eye. He wondered if the woman that he saw in the mirror had anything to do with all of this. Is she the reason why he's here? He wasn't to sure if she's the reason and how she even got in the mirror in the first place but he knew that it has to her. She has to be a real person. She could he the reason why he's been seeing things. It's all because of her. When he was in the hospital with his younger brother, Tarrlok, he saw visions of a woman and the chilling feeling of frost and chills. She's the one who's causing the cold, the chille, and the freezing air that comes with her. He doesn't that well if he meant her before but he recognizes those chills anywhere. He just doesn't . But, he can't dwell on his memories. He needs to keep running before the creature catches up with him and it attacks him from behind.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
The man kept on running, trying to get far from the dark wolf but no matter how hard he tried to run faster, it was getting faster. It was like it was catching up to his at top speed. He ran faster than the wold but it still caught up with him. Out of desperation, he yelled out with his outside voice. Hopefully, there was somebody out in the forest that can hear him and they can save him from the wolf or at least help him. He kept on yelling out but no one came. No one heard him. He was screaming loudly for anybody to hear him but it seemed that there was no one around that can help him or save him from this thing. No one was coming for him. Why would anybody help him? Why would anybody save him? No one doesn't care for him. Everybody hates him or resents him for all of his actions. He doesn't blame them. Why would they even bother with him? He did so many bad things and twisted them into his sick ideals of equality.
A single tear fell down from his left eye, the eye that had changed color streamed across his cheek until it dropped onto the snowy ground. But the tear caused the snowy ground to form icy sharp blades to sprout out and made a wall that the wolf won't be able to cross. The man looked back and saw the icy wall. He thought he was safe from danger but seeing that the icy blades kept on growing and it was heading towards his way. He sighed, growling in frustrating before his eyes widened. He saw how fast they were growing and they were heading towards his way so he launched himself to run and hoping he can find higher grounds to avoid the icy blades. He ran about 3 miles away from the icy blades but they were still heading towards his way. He thought he was safe from the creature but now their was ice blades striking at him. He can't catch a break.
He ran through the forest with no idea where to go. He was just trying to find high ground for him to avoid the ice blades. He looked back, seeing the blades getting faster but something was off thay occurred in the ice blades . There was something there or someone in the icy blades, like a person. But not just a person but a woman with white hair and pale skin. Her dress appeared to be flowing even though she was inside of the ice blades. Her hair appeared to be flowing and it was covering her whole face. He ran faster but at this point, he was getting tired. His body needed rest and his feet hurt from all the running. But rest wasn't a choice right now. He had to keep going even though his body was begging him for rest even for a minute or at least a second but he can't stop now. If he stops right now even for a minute or a second, the ice blades will crush him, and it'll kill him. He had to keep going and keep hoping that he can find high highs to at least avoid the icy blades.
The man kept on running. He thought all hope was lost before he saw a hill up ahead. He became overjoyed seeing the hill so he ran faster. His body was getting weak and tired but seeing the hill up ahead of him, all that was gone immediately. He ran to the hill as fast as he could. It was the only hope to get away from the ice blades that were striking at him. He ran up the hill and tried to keep himself up but it was quite hard to do so. The snow was deep and it was on a high hill so it made it harder for the man to run. He looked back at the ice blades and saw that it was catching up to him but the hill was slowing the ice blades down a bit so he had a enough time to keep running and get to high grounds until he can finally catch his breath and rest his body. He needed to rest his body from all the running and panicking his done.
While the man was running up the hill, somebody grabbed him from under the snow. He was stopped at his tracks by this strange force. He looked down to see what stopped him. He freaked out when he saw a hand that was grabbing his leg. He tried to pull away from the hand but the grip was to strong to break free from. He tried his hardest to get away but the hand that was keeping him away was still not letting go. He leaned over to the hand and tried to pull the hand away from his leg but it was no use, it wasn't letting go. This hand looked the same with the pale lady. He knew this was her doing. It had to be that witch but he wasn't quite sure how she was doing this. He has never encountered a person like her. Is this some kind of trick or an affect or maybe it could be some kind of dark magic? He didn't believe in dark magic or any type of magic. It wasn't real, magic wasn't real. Any of it wasn't real. So how can he believe in something that could be the reason of his troubles from the start. But, when he was trying to get the hand off his leg. He heard a voice that called out his names. The many names that he was named after over time. It was like it was mocking him or making fun of him.
"Noatak. Oh Amon. Or Keno, isn't it. You do have many names. So sad. Many faces but never set on one. You're nothing. Who even are you anyways."
The laughs that was coming from the woman made him shake. He covered his ears from the voice that was echoing in his ears. He wanted her to stop. He couldn't handle it. He knew he did wrong to others. He did wrong to the people he knows. He did wrong to his own mother and his mother. He knew he did wrong to himself and his past life. He'll always remind himself of all the wrongs he has done, he can't handle that much. But, he can't handle when somebody else is reminding him of his past especially when a person that he's never meant and is terrorizing him to remind him of what his done in the past. He tried to pull himself away from her grip one more time but she used her other hand to grab his leg and pull him down to the snowy ground. He gasped, pulling himself harder to get away but her grip was stronger with two arms pulling him down.
Eventually, she pulled him down to the ground. His body was now halfway in the ground. He tried to pull himself up with his arms but they were to weak. He hasn't worked out his arms for a long time so he had to arm muscle to help himself. Besides, even with arm muscle, no strength can help him get out of this. He tried his hardest but nothing worked. He looked around his surroundings for one last time. He was hoping to see that there could be a vine or a tree brach that he can grab onto. Maybe to help pull himself out or keep himself up at the surface for a while until he can think of something to get out but there was nothing at sight. He was stuck, there was nothing he can do. He saw himself sinking even more into the ground more than he was before. Before he was consumed by the ground, he yelled out for help for the last time. But seeing that no one was coming to help him. He gave up, he let the ground eat him. He let thw witch drag him down underground but he'll fight her down there no matter what. But all there was now is just completely darkness.
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
He woke up, he gasped for air. He sat up from the floor and held his chest. He tried to catch any type of air for him to breath. His version was blurry a bit which scared him. He thought he was back in the snowy forest again. He thought he was back in the dark. He rubbed his eyes with his hands and took a moment to thin again. When he got his eyesight again and finally caught his breath, he realized that he was back in the bathroom. The bathroom that was in the cabin. He stood up from the bathroom floor and slowly glaced at the mirror. He prepared himself for what he was going to see in the mirror. He noticed that the mirror wasn't foggy anymore but that didn't matter. Just seeing that woman again in the mirror scared him enough. He just wanted to make sure that he wasn't ready this time. When he looked in the mirror, he saw nothing but himself. But he noticed something odd about his hair. The strip of white hair traveled on the other side of his head. He shook his head and rubbed his eyes before double checking again. Just making sure if he was seeing it correctly with his own eyes or one eye.
He couldn't see nothing with his left eye and it was the eye that changed into a different color. His color eye was blue before but now it was the color of Aqua Blue. But, his right eye was completely normal. He can see perfectly with his right eye and it hasn't changed color. His right eye was still blue, like it always has been. It was a relief that his other eye was still his normal color but the other eye wasn't his own anymore. He took a closer look at his eye and noticed that he has no eyesight with his left eye. He covered his right eye to see if he can at least see even if it was a little but he can't see anything, nothing from his left eye. Now, he only has one good eye that he can see through. He sighed before turning his attention to look at the window. He was shocked to see that it was already night time. He walked over to the window and took a closer look at the night sky.
He opened the window and peaked his head put to see the night sky. He wondered how long he's been out before he heard a sudden and familiar voice that he's been hearing. The voice sounded like it was coming from inside of his head. He covered his ears and grunted at the loud voice that seemed to be screaming in his ears. But it sounded that the voice wasn't coming from his ears but inside of his head. He begged the lady to stop screaming inside of his head but she laughed at him with a evil and screeching laugh which sounded like she was slowly losing her mind. He ran out of the bathroom and hit the wall. He fell to the floor and kept his ears covered but the voice was getting louder. He screamed out loud for the woman to stop but the laughter was getting louder and louder by every ing moment that went by. He cried out, a tear shed out of his right eye. He stood up from the floor but he felt a pain shot to his forehead.
He ran through the hallway and turned to go to the kitchen. He went over to the counter and rested himself there. He breathed in and out, trying to calm himself. He whispered under his voice, "Get out of my head," he said to himself but the voice inside of his head was getting to him. His body started to feel weak and his mind felt like somebody was taking over him. Taking over his own mind, the mind that he had control over since he he was young. But, he never had control over his mind. He always had multiple identities and eventually formed into their own personality traits. Noatak was the first personality that he was born as. But later on in his life, he eventually formed into another person. A person that he named as Amon, the main source of all of his problems. And lastly, the last person he was born as was Keno. He seemed like a kind and decent man who just wants a quiet and normal life for himself. Keno was neither Noatak or Amon but something more. Maybe Keno was both Noatak and Amon but as a different person. A man that was far better than both of them. So in reality, he was never really in control over himself. So what's the difference with somebody else controlling his mind.
It hit him, his head felt like it was pounding like a heartbeat. He held his head and lift it up in the sky. A vein popped out of his forehead. He brought his hands to feel the veins that were popping put of his forehead. He than brought his hands off his forehead and looked at his hands. His version was becoming blurry and unstable. He could barely see barely but at that one moment of time. He thought he saw his hands turning into a feminine shape of a woman's hands. The hands were pale and had frost on them. His nails were long and pale blueish like. He backed away from the counter and hit the other counter that was on the other side of the kitchen. His breath became heavy and he felt that his heart was bow beating just like how his head feels. He than heard the voice again but this time, the voice was speaking to him again. He was startled by how the voice was speaking to him.
"Turn around."
He froze, the moment he heard the voice. The voice told him to turn around. What did she mean to turn around? Was she right behind him? What was she going to do? What's going to happen? He started to shake a bit and froze in place. His eyes widened and his mouth stayed shut. He was speechless, both in speaking and mind wise. He didn't want to turn around and see what was there but his body started to move without his permission. He was moving out of place like he wasn't in control. He tried to stop his body from turning any further but the control over him was to great in power. He slowly turned his whole body around, his left eye was being forced to look at the direction. His legs and arms were shaking. He didn't want to see what was behind him but he was being forced to look behind him. Once he was fully turned, he thought he was going to see her behind him, scare his soul out of his body. But, there was nothing there. Nobody wasn't behind him. He was confused but relieved at the same time. He was calm for a moment.
Once he felt that his body was back in his control again, he walked out of the kitchen. He went to the livingroom where he went by the fireplace. He looked down at the fireplace and saw a flicker of light inside. He leaned over at the fireplace and looked at the flicker of light. It looked like somebody was trying to turn on the fireplace but who can it be. He still sense anybody coming inside the cabin. He would've known but that now wasn't his main problem. He felt a gush of wind hitting his back. His hair was flowing in the strong gush of wind which alarmed him. He turned around to see a woman with white hair and pale skin along with a icy blue dress that was flowing with the frost wind that was blowing in his face. She was slouchy, showing her long arms, and her hands that appeared to have blue sharp fingernails also her fingers were frost bitten. He couldn't see her face due to her hair covering her face but when she lifted her head up. She revealed her face to him. Her face was also pale like her skin but her cheeks were covered in frost and they were palish blue but it appeared that her skin was smooth. Her lips were pale pink but they were perfect shape. Her eyes had no life in them but her color eyes were very unique. Her color eyes were Aqua Blue. She smirked before she screamed in a sonic blast that almost blasted his eardrums. He was overwhelmed in fear. His body moved without his mind alarming it. His body ran out of the cabin and left it without looking back. Behind him, he heard her laughing in a eerie laugh that he'll never get out of his head for as long as he lives. Besides the laughing, he heard her telling him something. The far he was running, it was like a whisper but he heard very loud and clear.
"No matter where you run. I'll always be with you, snow wolf."
