The Burning Dragon

Eyo! that old realistic Lizalfos edit I made way back when? Whelp, I tried it out again, but with Volvagia this time. He doesn't look as realistic, but I'm with hope he turned out to say the least.

Obviously, I'm trying out the #Aestheticweek challenge even though I usually don't make edits. However, when it mentioned you could draw a well, my mind thought back to my Lizsalfos edit and I figured- why not give it a shot?

So here it is! I picked the red for theme, and if course drew and edited Volvagia with realistic textures, grabbing random scale textures of aligators and snakes, just like I did with the Lizalfos edit. It was pretty challenging since I was working on more than just a head shot and more of working with a noodle.

On another note, while starting this, krita crashed on me and I almost lost the file. No joke, it happened when he was fully textured and I had fully colored and done base shading and hadn't saved. So yeah. I would've rage quit if I hadn't just decided to shut down my computer manually to force a file recovery. Hehe...
