Rose: "You got the tickets sis?"
Poppy: "Yeah, just searching some money to buy Nachos."
It was an extended weekend because of Seagiving and the Midoriya twins were going to Inkopolis to watch a movie in theaters. But their mother also wanted them to ask Lily if she wanted to have dinner with them tonight. Lily Powers was Daisy's best friend since their childhood and was always invited for special occasions.
Once arrived at Inkopolis, the girls immediately went to the library where Lily worked, giving reader's and writer's advice, plus keeping track of order within the book shelves. They thought making her aware of the invitation and taking her with them on their way home would be the best approach.
It didn't take them long to find her in the library. Lily has a remarkable appearance due to her quirk Dragonling. This mutant type quirk grants her a skin with lizard-like scales granting increased durability, sharp claws (which she needs to cut every day) and teeth, wings capable of flight, a lizard-like tail and the ability to breath fire. She also has an augmented physical prowess and regeneration. While not related to her quirk, she also has Wolf-like ears, an appearance trait she inheritted from her father which give her above average hearing. Despite this powerful quirk, Lily never wanted to be a hero as she strongly believes quirks shouldn't influence people's being. She doesn't like villains, but isn't a big fan of heroes either. She also isn't really fond of her own quirk, as her appearance made it difficult to make friends in her childhood, with Daisy being one of the few people she managed to befriend.
Both of the twins whispered her name. They saw the wolf ears twitch before Lily looked in their direction. She always looked very serious while working, but seeing the twins put a smile on her face as she beckoned them to follow her to the center. This is because it's the place in the library where you're allowed to actually talk due to the director's quirk which allows him to create an invisible soundblocking barrier, which will stay on its own as long as he doesn't decide to make a new one on another place.
Lily: "What reason may I thank for this visit?"
Poppy: "Mom wanted us personally to invite you for a Seagiving dinner tonight as we were coming to Inkopolis anyways. If you're ok with it, we'll pick you up at around 18:00 on ... Inkopolis Square?"
Lily: "I'd love to. My shift runs to 17:00 but I'll be waiting for you then. See you for now."
Rose: "Alright, catch ya later."
Poppy: "Wait, hold on, I wanted to ask if you have this book by any chance."
Poppy handed over a paper, making the blue dragonling nod as soon as she read it.
Lily: "I know where it is. I'll bring it with me tonight."
Poppy: "Thanks a lot. See ya."
As soon as they exitted the library, Rose spoke once more.
Rose: "Which book do you need?"
Poppy: "It's a book which can help you analyse dreams. I recently had another nightmare, not as bad as earlier, but still disturbing and really vague. I've tried to look for it myself, but I couldn't find it in that library, it's too big. So I figured Lily might know where it is, she knows nearly every book located there."
Rose: "I still think she would've been a fine hero."
Poppy: "We've had this conversation before sis. Even if she wouldn't have had trouble with her quirk, she gets startled way too easy."
Rose: "Yeah, I guess you're right. Anyways, what movie did you pick? I completely forgot to ask."
Poppy: "A film adaptation of a book I read, 'Agent Zero'. I heard it really lived up to the expectation so I think it should be great."
After the movie, the twins went on their way to Inkopolis square.
Rose: "Holy carp! If I knew it would be that good, I might as well take the book from the library next time."
Poppy: "You reading a book? I must be dreaming."
While she let out a chuckle, causing her quirk to activate a bit on its own.
Rose: "I'd gladly make an exception for this one, good movie choi..."
Rose and Poppy got silenced and startled by a roar in the distance, seemingly coming from the square. They looked each other in the eyes before running towards it with one concern in mind: Lily, who should already be there.
When they wanted to go through an alleyway ending onto Inkopolis Square, they got stopped by an officer.
Officer: "Sorry kids, but I can only allow heroes to . There's a villain causing havoc at the square and there are already 2 heroes trying to take care of it, so just ..."
He couldn't end his sentence as Rose jumped over him using her quirk, soon followed by Poppy, leaving the confused officer behind.
When the duo got onto Inkopolis square, they witnessed a huge male inkling with a lucha libre like plague mask, trying to hold an equally big, blue dragon in a headlock. Both were about the size of a small house, but Poppy noticed orange smoke coming from the dragon which was being inhaled by the wrestling inkling, seemingly enlarging him. Despite this, he was clearly struggling to hold back the dragon and he suddenly noticed the twins.
Leecha: "What are ya little biscuits doing here? Shield, protect 'm. I think this lizard can break free any second."
Soon after he finished his sentence, the dragon used her wings to move backwards, slamming her opponent into a nearby building, causing him to lose his hold of her. She then continued to spit a fire ball right into the duo's direction. Before it was able to reach them, it got blocked by some kind of transparant dome surrounding them, kind of like a bubbler but bigger, not only protecting them but someone else too.
Shield: "I'll repeat Leecha's question: what are you doing here?"
Standing not too far behind them was a female inkling with the short tentacle hairstyle who also wore a plague mask, but only covering her lower face. She was dressed in a kimino and was looking very calm despite the situation.
Rose: "After hearing a roar from here, we were worried about our friend who should be here too."
Shield: "What does she look like?"
Rose: "Like an average octoling but with appearance traits of a ... dragon."
It was finally sinking in.
Rose: "Oh my Cod, Poppy, did you know Lily had a transformation part to her quirk?"
Poppy: "No, but if she would know, she wouldn't need it right? And why is she behaving like an animal then?"
Shield: "Inkoming!"
While having their little conversation, the dragon had approached the dome and started scratching vicously at the dome. Despite not showing it, Shield started to have trouble keeping up the barrier protecting them until Leecha tackled the beast once more.
Leecha: "Damn lizard, stay down!"
But faster than previous time, he got thrown off, right into Crusty Sean's van, completely crushing it. Poppy could see Shield's eyes becoming a bit worried now.
The dragon turned her attention to the dome once more, but after a green dash ing behind her, she fell down. Shield removed her barrier and immediately runned to the unconsious Leecha. Meanwhile the twins were standing still, being starstruck at the sight of who saved them: Agent 3, Mika Galar, the current number 1 hero.
Mika: "I wish I didn't have to do that, I like dragons."
She ed Shield, who had succeeded at waking up Leecha. Poppy noted that he had decreased in size, but was still above average levels of size and muscles.
Mika: "Thanks for keeping this villain busy. Do you need medical treatment?"
Leecha: "No, thanks 3, but I'll have Overhaul look at it. How's that lizard now?"
The 3 heroes got surprised when looking back at where the dragon got knocked out, as she had shrunken down and received a more octoling-like appearance. Shield took the upper part of her Kimona and covered Lily's body with it, as the transformation had ripped her clothes.
Mika: "This is more intriguing than I thought. Can you get her to the nearest villain hospital? I have other places to be. Say hello to Overhaul from me, I'll call you later." As she pointed towards her glowing headphones, before rushing off.
Shield: "Alright Agent 3, don't get burned."
Rose: "Excuse me, but she said villain hospital. I assure you, Lily wouldn't hurt a fly and ..."
Shield: "Your friend has caused serious collateral damage and would have killed Leecha if she kept him as her main target. She is a villain now until the law says otherwise. You two should be arrested too because of your little stunt, but since I think you had the right reason, I'll give you a . Now go before I change my mind."
Rose wanted to continue her interrupted plea, but got silenced by Poppy, who took her sister away while also quickly picking up the dream book Lily had dropped.
Poppy: "It's better not to engage in a discussion with pro heroes. All we can do now is just go home and inform mom. It's better not to tell her on the phone."
Rose looked at her sister with a sad face.
Rose: "And what if she sees it on the news?"
Poppy: "... who's going to call her?"

23:00, a female inkling in her late 20s was moving through her labratory in ecstasy.
Evanne: "Oh, I would love to see everyone's face right now. I was right all along, look who's laughing now!"
She chuckled as she got behind her laptop, which gave a notification that she received a call. She accepted it with a huge sense of joy.
Evanne: "Hello DJ, how are you?"
DJ: "Alright, I don't think I need to ask you that question. We saw the news about the dragon incident. You can be proud of yourself."
The doctor responded in theatrical way.
Evanne: "Oh well, thank you my dear DJ. But cards on the table, I still need a lot of finetuning. The effect is temporary and it seems like there's a drastically decreased sense of reasoning as a side-effect. But we can actually used that very well for operation Chaos.
DJ: "Indeed, but for the main phase of our plan, you need to find a solution against that side-effect for when she'll use it. You still have some time to do that, we have some stuff to take care of here as well."
Evanne: "I'll see what I can do, I'll send you a backup of the current formula right now too. I managed to give the unfinished product a name too."
DJ: "What is it?"
Taking of her mask, Evanne gave a smirk.
Evanne: "Trigger."
