Skarn is one of the Behemoths within the world of Dauntless. Can be enraged.

Skarn is based off of reptilians. He can use terra to shield himself, and use it against the player. In battle, Skarn is known to hurl towards the player, and also send stones underground to strike the player.

First one is when Skarn is standing on his hind legs, exposing his belly. Hitting the behemoth with hard attacks will result in it falling over, stunning it momentarily.

Second one is when this behemoth is spinning, when interrupted Skarn’s attack will end and will be staggered.

The Skarn is an incredibly versatile behemoth. There are few behemoths able to use and manipulate the environment quite like the Skarn. There isn't a child in the Shattered Isles who hasn't heard the story of the "Golden Skarn". A legend about a Skarn clad in gold, hunted by many slayers, but never killed. Of course, this is simply a legend. A real Golden Skarn would quickly be hunted down by greedy slayers. Its soft, golden armor would provide little protection

But there are plenty of other interesting, existing Skarn. One of the more common, but still very dangerous Skarn would be the Ironhide. A Skarn that seeks its way into an iron mine or other iron-rich area and cloaks itself in rock hardened with iron. Narrow pathways and collapsing tunnels make fighting the Skarn inside the mine practically impossible. Because of this, loud noises and flash grenades are often used to drive the Skarn above ground. But even then, an Ironhide Skarn is not an easy kill. Even a normal Skarn cares little for sharp, light weaponry. An Ironhide will not be damaged by these at all. Only the strongest hits will leave a dent in the strong iron armor of the Skarn. This is why only veteran slayers are allowed to hunt these creatures.

Another, less common Skarn is the Gemking. Gemkings only appear on islands rich in minerals and are often covered in a mix of Omnistone and Phoenix Opals. Small statues of this behemoth might be found in many homes in the Shattered Isles and are often seen as a sign of wealth and good fortune.”
