Howdy party people, sorry for being MIA for like, 3ish(?) months. Turns out my 7-6 class schedule killed me more than I want to it. But, I'm doing 8 less units this quarter, so you'll see me much more often.

It's Spring Break down here in SoCal, which means there's an influx of sunburnt tourists in my home town. For some reason, they're really fascinated with our local possum population around the Mission Inn. Does Japan not have possums?

My wisdom for our foreign visitors: you hear the possum hissing long before you see it. But they're kind of cute, I guess.

The Weekly Challenge:

Most stories have a tangible setting, and many tend to have multiple locations. Harry Potter has Hogwarts, Episode VIII has Luke's sweaty old man island, and Narnia has Narnia, amongst others.

Your challenge is to take a fictional setting from a story, whether you've written or read it, and create a post in which you try to its setting as a vacation spot. You can make posters, talk about travel plans, prices, and even highlight some of the perks of visiting the location. It can be humorous, serious, or even a bit dark, but please keep to our guidelines.

Don't forget to add #VacationSpot so your post doesn't get missed!

Here, I made this for you guys as an incredibly low-quality example. It took 30 minutes:

Some tips & things to keep in mind:

•If you're a writer, then your goal is to ultimately convince us that we want to read your story. Still, no links or ads unless you follow our ment guidelines.

•Try to avoid too many spoilers if you can. A bit of mystery can spark interest, but an essay might be a bit of a turn-off.

•Focus on location, not characters.

•Don't take 22 units in one quarter, because you will die.

•Don't just talk about the place, but the culture and its people. This includes things like food, rituals, goods for sale, and social events.
