Dear ℙ,
You are exceptional - please that. Everything you do, or will do, will make me (and your father) proud. You have such an aura about you that screams " radiance" and never cease to have a smile on your face.
Even though we watch 'The Incredibles' all the time, I live watching you quote certain scenes by heart - it melts my heart. "You are my greatest adventure." ~ Mr. Incredible.
Every morning you have light in your eyes and are so full of energy - please give me some of that. Bounding off of walls, is something you could probably do (if it wasn't dangerous, that is).
You're imagination is something beyond compare. I never know what you'll pretend to be on any given day and at any given time. Sometimes it'll be a a cat, other times it'll be a worm.
Watching you learn new things, brings joy to my face and listening to you sing your ABCs is always a great pleasure. I swear, everyday you're saying, or doing, something new and I couldn't be more proud of who you are becoming.
You insist on doing things your way, yet ask for help when you need it. That, miss, takes enormous strength. Getting you to clean up your toys is another matter, in and of itself.
I could cuddle you forever and ever, but I would would never be "satisfied with my care" (Baymax). You give the best hugs as well - making me never want to let you go.
One thing I find extra humorous would be when you 'throw' your baby down your slide and then follow suit by landing on said baby - laughing as you do so. It's quite the thing to witness.
Oh my goodness, the way you eat your sandwiches are something that I wouldn't refer to as "eating". Opening them up and devouring them from the inside out, if you will. It's a very interesting thing to watch you accomplish.
What I'm trying to say, is that you are extraordinary and will go far in life. You are already learning and doing so much in your short time in this Earth. Sometimes I question whether you are, in fact, 2 years old or if you aged over night and are older than you are.
Everything your father and I do, we do for you. Though it may not seem like much, but I know it means everything to you by the way you have a permanent smile.
A constant need for adventure is something you require and never seem to get enough of. Outside, you love "muddy cuddles" and finding worms. Let's also not forget about how you think it's funny to run into the driveway (not super dangerous, but still not a good idea either).
Wherever we go, you always wave at everyone that es us by and say "hello". They think you are the cutest thing in the world. You sure are an extrovert, which is the complete opposite from your father and I. We prefer to stay inside and only go out when necessary.
Your father and I love the person you are becoming. How you're getting out of your shell and opening up to people more. How you're not afraid to speak your mind. How you show unconditional love no matter who you're with.
Please stay your positive self and I will continue encouraging you to be the best that you can be, that I know you will be. You are exceptional and will grow up to do exceptional things - I know you will. I'm proud to call you my daughter and wouldn't have it any other way.
I love you,
ℳ
