Another photo from my recent trip to Mexico that I'm super proud of. These ants are sooo cool, from their unique orange color, big pinchers on the front and the spikes that cover their bodies. When I saw them, I knew a good photo would be a challenge, but I managed to get a nice stack of about 14 ...

I it that this is a rather unorthodox entry for this challenge, but I couldn't help but notice while editing this shot how symmetrical the hairs and patterning on this Tan Jumping spider are. I added auch more zoomed version of this shot to hopefully showcase that here. #naturespattern

Hoppers like this are undoubtedly very cool, but they can be very frustrating to photograph. This one was in the evening, and was pretty calm making it the ideal subject. Managed to get this little focus stack of em'.

Even on slow days, ants are a constant fixture.

The only orange Crab Spider I've ever found. For whatever reason some apps seem to desaturate the top photo.

One of the more nicely colored stink bugs if I do say so myself.

Flowers and plants are fun to photography, but it can be hard to decide how to do it if you're doing it with Macro. Sometimes you'll get lucky though, and find a subject that allows you to use the flower to make the shot beautiful. This is often the case with pollinators, like this furrow bee! #Proj...

The theme for this one is high angle, which opens the door for some very unusual (for me) compositions, since I typically try to be close to face level with my subjects. Here's a Jumping Spider that I managed to get an overhead shot of! #Project52
