shock was written across my face as I rested my feet in in the warm ocean water

Beauty was all I saw, as the sun beamed on your features.

As you walked on by, all that left your lips was

‘Hey, helmet’

That damn nickname.

At the beach is where our memory is rest to lay

Where our endless adventures were yet to be discovered

Where our love, bloomed.

Where my love bloomed, for you.

Where pictures were captured, beautiful pictures.

Where your face glistened in the reflection of the ocean water.

Even though our memories are left, our story never ends.

For at the beach, stories last forever as long as their told.
