𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲

Born to a Korean Talent manager and a Japanese immigrant, He was given the name of Taishiro. but his Korean name was Kang-dae which Taishiro didn't care for as he adored his mother and lived with her. She was a disgraced Idol but she loved cooking and her son was the one that had to finish the food, which he often shared with the less fortunate. Volunteering in a soup kitchen. Where he learned how to cook himself. Taishiro was ecstatic to be able to feed and see people eat his food. Some went so far to say his mother would've been proud. Once day heading home, His mother had been killed in a robbery gone wrong. Where the supervillain thug accidentally killed her and Taishiro felt sadden he wasn't there to help. Blaming himself, He was quickly in his father's custody who used him as his assistant. While they scouted many talents. A few taught Taishiro how to play the guitar and sing. A video he was in went viral and he was praised. A few even went as far to point out that he reminded them of the Japanese Idol that was big a few years back. Taishiro came to tears when he heard his mothers voice when a record of the woman was played. But he didn't become an idol as his dad put it. A fat idol would be a joke.

Eventually his path crossed that of a woman who was being groomed up to be the next big thing. A next huge Idol. They became friends. Maybe even more. Taishiro offered to only cook for her. A indirect way to propose. Although it was more of the woman suggesting it. But still he told her that. The two came with the idea to run away. When they agreed to do so. Taishiro was on his way to meet her but on his way he saw a supervillain about to rob this woman and Taishiro rushed to help. He was only a chubby kid but during the fight he suffered a few injuries and that was when his mutant ability manifested and Taishiro took out the bag guy but when he arrived at the bus stop. She was gone.

His whole teenager years he travled from South Korea to China and to Japan. Meeting various people that helped influence his life as that of a superhero. While he wasn't a famous hero, Taishiro was recognized in China and was beloved there and in Japan.

he can be seen as a Joke but Fat Gum became a force to be reckoned with.
