Regrets of the Past (challenge entry)

 

 

I cant be specific. I just wanted to put in an entry. It's not good but hey, better than nothing amiright?

Anyway, let's go!

Pain shot through me as I tried to

Shaking, my mind was a dying ember

I called out in distress

"Mike! Henry!"

Though my cries I tried to suppress

I gasped for breath as I tried to scream

I knew for a fact this wasn't a dream

If it was, would the pain be this real?

Of course it wouldn't, it's all I can feel

It's my fault, isn't it?

The fact that this franchise has crumbled to bits?

My family is gone, thanks to me.

All that's left is the remaining debris

The debris of my children

They were happy, until that day

Where everything is now an eternal decay

I the time I killed Henry's little girl

Everytime I ed it, it gave me a thrill

I wasn't thinking right, per se.

Am I just a monster?

Just a human for display?

Maybe I am, I can't deny.

It's not like I can just revive

I had my chances, I deserve this fate

What comes next, I can't debate

Everytime I grabbed that knife

I was filled with nothing but utter delight

To hear them screaming

It's rather oddly pleasing

I can feel myself black out, losing control

As I slowly and painfully decompose

At the edge of consciousness

As I retrace my thoughts

Feeling the blood around me rise

I ask myself:

Was it worth it at the end?

Or was it all just one big sham?

It took 40 minutes

I followed all guidelines to the challenge and it's original I thiNK-

I'm tired and my phones about to die so hh bye-
