JH: I rested well, and well, I did what I wanted to do - listening to music, and I’ll speak on it later, but - I tried a collaboration, and yes, I went to America and tried filming a cool MV - yes, I spent my time like that.

JH: It’s been exactly two hours since its release. Until now, I was watching the MV, reading the responses, searching Twitter …

JH: You’re saying you were about to die because you missed me so? I also was about to die because I missed you so.

JH: “Your dyed hair looks good” It’s the first time in awhile - you all like me in black hair, so I was worried but - my hair grew a lot, right? Yeah. I’m going to keep the length awhile longer before I cut it.

JH: Did I have dinner? I - I, sorta? A salad. And Jimin and Jungkook ordered takeaway food, so I just went nyam nyam nyam next to them.

JH: [CNS] is a very old track. Actually, when I was preparing for Hope World, this was going to be a track on that. And there was a [different] artist that was going to feature on it. But it didn’t work out, so I ended up releasing Hope World regretful [that CNS didn’t make it.]

JH first learnt to dance with this song, CNS. And it is for this reason that while preparing for ‘Hope World’, he thought of this song, for the album was supposed to be representative of him. He really wanted to have a track regarding his relationship with dancing in it.

JH: It got cut off, now. (ENG) I’m sorry ARMY! You were surprised, right? Me too. I was speaking with fervour!

JH: Before that, before Billboard, we’d already decided on it, and we met then - asking ‘did you hear the song’ and responding yeah - it was pretty awkward, and that’s when Namjoon came over, and I introduced him as the leader - and then she left and I was so worried I hadn’t been able to speak to her very well. I said [to the others] she wouldn’t want to collab with me anymore. (He then shared a little later it was really nervewracking to go to LA alone to film.)

JH: Becky G was really proactive. [Note: This is an umbrella statement, and his next explanation is to show how she managed to Get Stuff Done.] She said she’d work on the arrangement - I honestly was a little uneasy.

(He then explained it’s because she was super busy, and she wasn’t able to work on it and send it over quickly, and he was afraid that it would fall through like for HW.)

— But then Becky G sent it back, and I edited it, sent it back, I gave her the chorus … and yeah, that’s how it was made.

JH later added that as he had relayed here, he had been super anxious about everything regarding this. For example, his English isn’t very good. But Beckg G said it’s okay, they can communicate through music and their bodies.

JH spoke delightedly of how fun it was with the local dancers, and how of course they knew the original track. He also mentioned how cool it was having three languages, and that there’s a synergy that arose from that.

JH: (reads comment) Can I speak about my necklace? Oh, that’s right! I think I was really involved in the process; from the music video, the costuming, hair, from accessories to album art … and such a great creation was born because a lot of staff helped.

That necklace was really - I searched around a lot - but the thought did suddenly come to me that it would be pretty interesting - since the track is one I danced to when I was young, it’d be good if an accessory could reflect that, so I put a picture of my young self in it.

The album art was done by “Teacher Lee Dongki” who JH described as the best in the genre of pop art. JH ed him via BH, and thankfully LDK is a fan of music and to work on the track said he listened to it 50 times.

JH said his respect for him rose with that - “Even I don’t listen to it 50 times” (laughs)

JH as he teaches us CNS: “It’s easy! Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook got it straight away!”

JH after he sits down, puffing: “You’re right, it’s not actually an easy dance.”

JK after he was directed to dance CNS, about JH: I didn’t know I’d fall for a guy. You were so cool.

JK: I also will (points to screen) I’m also working hard, producing. At first, I wanted to share it right after the break ended, but I wasn’t pleased with it, so - (points)

JH: When do you think it’ll be ready?

JK: It’s not just one song, everyone! (bows) Please anticipate it!

JH says he went to his hometown and ate his mum’s food in the break.

Regarding JH’s airport fashion: “You could call it shocking, yes. Yes, I did wear it, but there was a bag, and it made it slip more.” He says with a giggle it wasn’t supposed to show /that/ much.

JH: What did my family say after they watched the MV? Uh, my family really liked it. They all - my noona gave me such great congratulations also. My family compliments me a lot, so, hehe.

JH: ‘Will you a choreography video’? This doesn’t have a full choreography so .... — He says we’ll be the ones to it for him, this time

JH: Mickey is doing well. He’s healthy.

JH: A behind about the lyrics? I just simply wrote about my feelings regarding dance. (He then adds he probably worked on it in 2017.)

JH is going to say goodbye after watching the MV with us once more. HA he does comment the cars were very scary. His eye smile watching Becky G I’m 🥺🥺🥺🥺.

Because it was filmed in a one-take style, if JH didn’t like one thing about it, they’d have to do it all over again. He was very apologetic about it, but Becky G would say that it was no problem. JH said she’s super nice - something he’s been repeating this VLIVE. 🥺🥺

Apparently the cars were so loud in the background that he couldn’t hear the music well. The night scene wasn’t planned but JH requested for it, and is glad he did, because it could’ve been a little repetitive otherwise. Another compliment to the dancers!

JH: Anyway! It was such a fun production, and I feel so warm. I don’t know what to call this feeling. // He gives us a greeting of loving thanks for liking the song, and requests we show our moving through the #CNSChallenge. He promises he’ll see them all and like his faves!
