(I've never actually been to London so I apologise in advance for any mistakes.)

The machine beeped and flashed red again.

Adrian (me lmao) huffed and shoved their Oyster card into their pocket. It was just their luck that their card failed to work on the day of their job interview. They heard shuffling and a quiet conversation behind them. They ignored it to the best of their ability, but one phrase caught their attention.

"Hey Phil, let's smuggle them in."

Adrian felt their heart leap into their throat as they recognised the voice. They knew it couldn't be them; the chances were too slim. Even so, they turned around, heart pounding and fingers crossed.

There they were. Their idols, the two men they looked up to so much. Dan Howell and Phil Lester, or better known as Daniel Howell/danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil.

Adrian felt their breath catch in their throat. Being 5'5, all they could do was stare up at them in amazement. They were real.

Dan and Phil noticed Adrian staring and waved.

"Hey, uh, we noticed you were having problems with your card, so we were wondering if you'd mind if we smuggled you in with one of us."

"What?" they asked, not processing anything they had said yet. "Oh! Uh, not at all!" they stuttered out, their face turning red in embarrassment.

Dan and Phil chuckled, and if possible, Adrian turned redder.

"So, I take it that you know who we are?" Dan asked, a small smirk on his face.

Adrian nodded to avoid embarrassing themselves any further. They were just starting to calm down and their face was now a light shade of pink as opposed to bright red.

"Dan! You can't just say that!" Phil whispered. "I mean, look at them!" He gestured towards Adrian, who was getting redder again.

"Hey, you two! Stop flirting and hurry up!" someone shouted from behind them.

Dan and Phil blushed (which Adrian thought was adorable) and Dan swiped his Oyster card and went through the gate.

"Are you ready?" Phil asked, about to swipe his card as well. Adrian took a deep breath and nodded. "Alright, go!" Phil swiped his card. As soon as the gate opened, Adrian didn't hesitate to sprint to the other side, Phil not far behind them.

Once they reached the other side, Adrian turned to Dan and Phil.

"Thank you," they choked out. "For everything," they added as an afterthought. Dan and Phil smiled and Adrian could feel themselves melting.

"You're welcome," Dan said.

"Thank you for ing us," Phil said at the same time. They looked at each other and giggled in the most adorable way possible.

Adrian felt like they were going die.

They looked to see if their train had arrived yet and seeing that is wasn't there, they looked back at them.

"Do you mind if I hug you?" they asked. Dan and Phil shook their heads and held open their arms. Adrian jumped into their arms and found themselves in the warmest hug they had ever experienced. For the few seconds the hug lasted, Adrian (in a non-creepy way) breathed in their scent. It was a strange, but not unpleasant, mix of chocolate and mint and the scent of an orchard after a rainstorm*.

They broke apart and Adrian thanked them again and, with a bounce in their step, walked away to wait for their train.

They looked back at Dan and Phil and as they walked away, Adrian could have sworn they saw them holding hands.

*I based this off of things I've read about people meeting them and phanfics I've read.
