🧩 Personality:

Long before the death of Mayumi's parents, she used to have a rather pleasant and peaceful childhood.

Her child-self was very optimistic, open-minded and full of life. Traits that she always kept through the years until today.

But back then her inner child has also been very whiny and insecure. Often scared of the tiniest of bugs, things she wasn't common with and ghosts! Her priestess ability of seeing spirits has always followed her eversince her birth and she only started discovering by the age of six.

But she's always been very warm-hearted and caring.

🧩 Influence :

As she's been born and raised in the shrine, with her parents having been the head priest and head priestess, she was teached a lot of things. Always having had to follow strict rules but her parents were also very loving since they cared about their oldest daughter.

Mayumi also used to have a little sister named Hanna who she always had to look after and she loved her dearly. Her sister has always brought her the joy in life that she needed.

The Minamoto family has also been a very important influence in Mayumi's life. Yukina, the wife of the last samurai leader, has always been like a second mother to Mayumi. Especially since she and Mayumi's mother were very close like best friends. Along with Takeru, who she met in a very young age. He was actually the first friend she ever made and since the Minamoto family often came over to visit the shrine, Mayumi was able to bond with Takeru a lot.
