Welcome to MCA School, are we would be teaching you on how to make a fresh baked, golden crust Wiki, in this lesson! We will also discuss the other fun bits about wikis towards the end!

Wiki Entries are mini-profiles for the things you care about. Since they appear prominently on your profile, use Wiki Entries to demonstrate your unique identity and share what matters most to you; or maybe a list of your favourite blogs or images! A wiki can also be used to make a OC Description or a Coin Commission Shop!

If you want to share your Wiki Entry with the community, you can submit it to the [MC Catalog|ndc://catalog], an encyclopedia of all things related to Minecraft Amino! Tho, submissions are approved by Leaders before it goes live on the Catalog.

After deciding what would be the content of your wiki, it's time to make the post itself! Make sure to decide which category it would come under if you are planning to submit it to the MC Catalog

➩ The Title

Firstly, choose an interesting title! Usually in wikis, it's direct to the point. Try keeping it under 5 words, as more words would be cut off while viewing the Wiki

Some Example Wiki Titles:

Mumbo Jumbo

Hypixel

Atlantis SMP

Note: A Mumbo Jumbo Wiki already exists, but this is just a example

➩ The Wiki Thumbnail

Every Wiki needs a thumbnail image! Try obtaining / making one which represents the wiki as a whole

Tip: The Wiki Thumbnail is a square (1:1) at a maximum resolution of 1024 x 1024 px

➩ Keywords (Optional)

Adding Keywords which relates to your wiki increases the searchability and also shows up with related blogs to the wiki!

Example: if you add a keyword "YouTube" it would show up with blogs which relates to YouTube while searching for blogs

Note: All the hashtags you may include in the Description, would also show up in the Keywords section

➩ The About Section

In the About Section, you include all the key / important parts of the wiki! Try including statistics and / or dates which relates to the wiki! You can even give ratings!

To switch between the types of About you can put, tap the icons just above your keyboard

To add more About Titles, simple tap the plus " :heavy_plus_sign: " icon at the end of the About Section! To remove a About Title, simply tap and hold on top of it and it would give you a option to remove it.

➩ The Info / Description

In the Info Section, you can go in full detail about the topic you are writing on! Add up to 50 images and text which describes your topic!

If you are writing about a Mob / Character / YouTuber, try making the wiki as if it's their bibliography. Have fun writing everything about them! Also try dividing the content into different sections

➩ Link A Related Wiki (Optional)

Amino gives you a option to link other wikis which relates to your wiki (at the end of the wiki)! Maybe Survival Series which you are in! Or maybe a group of friends a particular YouTuber is in! The possibilities are endless

Note: If you add wikis which aren't related, and you submit the wiki. It may be rejected!
