In June, BTS‘s Jin released his first-ever self-composed song, as part of BTS’s 2019 Festa. Now, he’s taking fans behind the scenes!

“This Night” (also known as “Tonight), is an enchanting lullaby produced by Jin, Slow Rabbit, Hiss Noise, and RM. In the song’s introductory message, Jin said that he wrote it while thinking of his pets.

At the recording studio, Jin shows how much thought and detail goes into the recording itself.

He carefully listens to the playback and rerecords parts to convey the emotions he wrote into the lyrics.

This behind the scenes clip also gives fans the chance to listen to Jin’s beautiful, raw vocals!
