A B O U T  M E

My real name is Emily, but you can call me Emily or Tango :blush: Other than riding I enjoy photography and hurdles/track. I have been into photography for over six years and have improved my skills so much in the past six years. As for hurdles I have been doing them for a couple years, but recently stopped, due to school work taking over my life.

M Y  R I D I N G

I started riding when I was one and a half years old. I feel in love instantly and ever since then I have loved riding. I continued to take lessons at the barn that my mom took my to when I was little. However when I was seven years old, I had a terrible fall and could not ride for a couple months. That gave me little to no confidence to continue riding that year. So I took the rest of the year off from riding.

However the next year I began riding again and I started to do more jumping again. I kept riding and eventually a few years later a did my first show and it was a lot of fun, despite all my nerves. I did more shows after that and slowly became more comfortable with showing.

Soon afterwards I leased my first pony named Zazu. Zazu was a large pony, that sadly ed away but is in a better place now :heart: We did a lot of shows together the summer that I leased him and we had a lot of amazing bonding moments together.

About a year after my lease with Zazu ended, I moved barns and leased a horse at the new barn, named Dundee. He was a very sweet horse sand we did many shows together as well as strengthen our bond. I even got the opportunity to bring Dundee to Kentucky, which was a blast!

After my lease with Dundee was up, I found a horse named Tango. However I was struggling socially at school, which was where my barn was located. So I decided to change schools and barns. So I ended up bringing Tango to his new home and we both love it. I bought Tango and I can not wait to see what the future has in store for the two of us.

History

Tango is 14 years old. I got him when he was 12 years old. He was born in 2005 in . He started showing when he was five. He has always been a hunter. When I first met him, it was his first day at my old barn. He was nervous to be in a new place. The next day I had a lesson on him. It was just a wonderful match and we both loved each other. It was love at first sight. The day after that I decided to lease him and I took him to a show that weekend. We got fourth place out of 15 people and he was an angel. Ever since then, I’ve been leasing him. We are both now at the new barn. He moved a few weeks ago and and we are both comfortable there. Now I own Tango thanks to a lot of people’s help and . I am beyond thankful to have such a wonderful and caring horse like him :heart:

Personality

Tango has a very sweet and confident personality. He always has your back and will help you as much or little as it may be. He is also an extremely confident horse. He has confidence in both the rider and himself. If you do not have the proper amount of confidence he tries to provide it for you.
