Hello my fellow GoT fans. I'm here to bring you my entry for the #BeMyVillaintine Challenge. It's been an awfully long time since I've written anything other than challenges or amino announcements so I am a little rusty at this.

So for my subject of affection, I was tasked with the charming Euron Greyjoy. And now you think, what could anyone possibly want to give Euron? A man as vile and as greedy as Queen Cersei. What ,you may ask, shall I give this man on this grand celebration of love? I shall give him a kiss. Yes. A mermaid's kiss.

Read on as I elaborate what this mermaid's kiss is in a form of a story.

☙ A Mermaid's Kiss ❧

"I'm the man who killed Jaime Lannister."

The only words Euron could utter to mask his fear. How long has it been since he had felt this? Felt truly powerless and afraid. He had always thought that he would find his end in some ship braving an inescapable storm -death of a true son of the sea- but the drowned god have made his judgement. He is probably down there right now finding all this so amusing.

  "I can't die just yet. I am King of the Ironborn and soon to be King of the Seven Kingdoms."

He Laughs maniacally.

  "Aye who am I kidding. Everything is in flames. That Targaryen b*tch has seen to that. The seven kingdoms finally looking more like the seven hells that it is."

  "Agh f*ck."

He can feel the pain pulsing through his whole body now. A low growling thud thud thud.

  "I really have done myself in this time. Who would've thought that being stabbed in the lungs would feel like drowning. Suffocating on my own blood so instead of the blue of the seas, I'm drowning in crimson."

Euron's consciousness starts to fade and he goes in a sleep-like state.

  "The sea. Am I floating? No ofcourse not. I can feel myself floating down to this nothingness. Let me just get a glimpse of the light one more time."

He looks up and sees light leaking from the red surface. He reaches out his right hand to try and reach the warmth from the light.

  "Please just one last time until this coldness becomes my eternity."

In the far distance, he sees something shimmer. A silver tail swimming towards him. As it got closer, his vision fades. But something pressed on his lips, somewhat it feels like a kiss. Warm and soft and ionate. Still holding on to his last breath, he slowly opens his eyes. A girl, no, a woman had her lips pressed against his.

For a bit, his vision cleared and he saw this woman had on a silver tail. Floating down with him and holding on tight as if not wanting to let go. And just as soon as he felt the warmth, the cold embraced him. Chilling his whole body just as this mermaid held on to him. Slowly dragging him down with her in the blackness below.

He finally lets go of his breath just as the mermaid drew it in her. It was as if she intended to do just that, to take his final breath away. He felt it all. The blood finally flooding into his lungs leaving no space unfilled. It was an inside burst and then slowly turning his chest stiff and hard. Now all warmth has gone.

A cold end for a cold heart, how befitting he thinks to himself. He often wondered how death would feel like and now that he knows, he no longer fears it.

         Death is sweet as it is bitter.

         It is misery as it is bliss.

         Warm as it is cold.

         Death is but a mermaid's kiss.
