Can you find the

cat among the bats?

                     Just something not scary... a

                     preparation of sorts for the next

                     few poems, I guess :jack_o_lantern:

Hallowe'en is all about fright,

But also about the cats and bats

Frolicking the streets and skies at night

And when the moon glows ever bright,

Watch them celebrate the season

Simply out of sight, but within reach,

With their puffed-up fur and glowing eyes,

As well as their mewls, shrieks, and cries,

Cats of all kinds would gather 'round

The porch of some abandoned manor,

Creating a choir on the eve

The spirits rise before they leave,

Bats, too, would come to congregate

And rule the sky that is black and white,

Swooping to and fro, from here to there,

Waiting for someone to be scared,

Hallowe'en is all about fright,

But also about the cats and bats

Who are all treated with warm welcome

Alongside some macabre hum,

See them be at ease for a while,

Enjoying their All Hallow's freedom

Besides crowds of children and their sweets

That filled their bags, as with the streets,

Let the cats and bats have their fun,

Let them form their own midnight parade,

Prowling the streets and ruling the skies

With a cacophony of cries,

Let cats prance atop the fences

With eyes glowing brighter than the moon,

Let bats make use of the barren sky

Before they have to say goodbye,

Hallowe'en is all about fright,

But also about the cats and bats,

Frolicking the streets and skies at night

And when the moon glows ever bright.
