BTS’s “Love Yourself: Answer” went silver in the United Kingdom, right before the group takes to the stage at the legendary Wembley Stadium this weekend!

On May 31, it was announced that the group’s 2018 album “Love Yourself: Answer” has achieved silver BRIT certification.

BRIT Certified awards are istered by the British Phonographic Industry, the trade association of the United Kingdom’s recorded music industry. For an album to receive a silver award, it must reach 60,000 units in sales.

This is BTS’s first BRIT certified album!

BTS performs on June 1 and 2 at the Wembley Stadium in London, England as part of their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” world tour.

On Billboard’s charts for the week ending in June 1, BTS’s “Map of the Soul: Persona” continues to rank high!

On the newly released Billboard 200chart, the mini album comes in No. 21 in its sixth week on the chart.

BTS’s title track “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey grabbed No. 71 on the Hot 100this week. The chart ranks the most popular songs in the United States.

On the Pop Songs radio airplay chart, “Boy With Luv” maintains the No. 24 spot for another week. It’s also No. 43 on the Canadian Hot 100, while “Map of the Soul: Persona” takes No. 26 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart.

The mini album is at No. 2 on the World Albums chart, and No. 8 on the Top Albums Sales chart.

BTS continues to top the Social 50 chart, now in their 128th week in total at No. 1.

The group is currently on their worldwide “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” stadium tour, and they’ll perform at the famed Wembley Stadium in London, England on June 1 and 2.

Bang Shi Hyuk and Lee Soo Man were once again named on Variety’s annual International Music Leaders list!

Titled “International Music Impact Report” this year, Variety magazine shared, “When we least expect it, along comes a ‘Gangnam Style’ or ‘Despacito’ or BTS to make us realize just how much we don’t know, and how much great music is being made off of our radar and yet at the same time, thanks to streaming, right under our noses. Who’s next? What’s next? Not knowing and then finding out is part of the thrill that inspires us — and all of the international-facing executives profiled here — to do what we do every day.”

Variety described Bang Shi Hyuk as the CEO and executive producer to BTS, listing the group’s many accomplishments this past year as well as mentioning Big Hit Entertainment’s newest group TXT. This is his second year on the list.

The magazine detailed Lee Soo Man’s accomplishments through the success of groups such as EXO, NCT 127, Red Velvet, Lay, and WayV. This marks his third year on the list.

Other executives listed in the list include Executive VP of Universal Music Group’s Market Development Adam Granite, Chairman and CEO of Sony Music U.K. and Ireland Jason Iley, CEO of Tencent Music Entertainment Cussion Kar Shun Pang, President of Warner Music Group Asia Simon Robson, and more.

The city of London is getting a purple makeover, thanks to BTS.

BTS is currently in the UK for their 2-day Love Yourself: Speak Yourself concert, which will take place on June 1 and June 2. While in town, BTS also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent to perform “Boy With Luv” for the show’s semi-finals.

Every place BTS visits shows their love in different ways, and London is showing theirs by going purple. Purple is a significant color to BTS and ARMY.

Wembley stadium (the location for BTS’s concert) is saying “I purple you” to BTS and their fans, but it isn’t the only landmark that’s doing so.

The Tower of London has also changed color to welcome BTS with open arms!
