do you ever just,,, swear to not involve yourself with shipping anymore and after four years the one ship that drags you back is considered unhealthy, abusive and problematic by the series' fanbase
i haven't descended into the 'degenerate' state of shipping though, all i do is read the same 5 fanfics that are in english+in character, and look at art
once i start to roleplay it (which i hope it doesn't have to come to that) i will have truly become the thing that i hate the most and slide down a rabbit hole until i realize that i messed up, yay :moyai:
the only difference is that since i'm almost an adult now i've become wAAAAY more skeptical and chill, and can draw the line between reality and some stinky story you're writing with some other person lmao
