Colours

Grey, black, white, a monochromatic world

But then it clicked and colour spread

I wanted to scream it to the universe and show

But I'd heard the stories of colour running red

Then a dash of pink, drop of purple, a blue streak

The world suddenly curved in favour of colours

A small victory as rainbow appeared on streets

Popping up amongst the grey concrete walls

Black coffee drank by girls in white ahead

They wander down street, holding hands

Still the colour returns to being hidden away

In rings, necklaces, small things for us to show

It isn't gone the show still goes on, unstopping

Its in souls who stand to stop the hiding

We all fight in our own way, we have pride for

Our Colours
