Unpopular opinion #47: eclipsa was wrong for cheating on her husband

Ah shit it's the first addition to this series in nearly 7 months

This opinion was submitted by Beütil, everything in italics is what beütil said:

"I think Eclipsa was wrong about cheating on her husband. I’m not a fan of “forbidden love” stories. “True love” doesn’t give you the right to cheat.

I know the marriage was her mother’s will but she could just divorce after some time, she didn’t need to see Glabgor until getting divorced. But no, she just cheated and I think it was wrong."

You gotta try putting yourself in eclipsas shoes, there's so much that I could say about this but the best way I could summarize it is, she was in an arranged marriage, with what she felt like was no real choice of who she got to be with, she then met globgor, and she did what would've caused the least chaos. Imagine living in a kingdom and the king and queen divorce, thatd cause mayhem, and then imagine how the people would react if the queen then went and married out of the group that those people hate the most, that would cause so much chaos.

So instead she just runs off without saying a word, which is really the best option she had, even though it still wasn't a good option, because none of the options were really good options, so yea, she wasn't right to cheat on her husband, but in a situation with only bad outcomes, she chose the least-bad option, at least that's the way I see it.

So yea even though cheating wasn't morally right one bit, I'm gonna still say I disagree because it was the best option really.
