W E L C O M E ! ! !

This is Nomad! I hope you are having a good day! Today, I'm happy to share with you all the sixth Chapter of What If...?: A Splat Force Story!

With how wild and intense the previous couple of Chapters have been (both Story wise and writing them wise), I've decided to take a step back and write a smaller story focused on Helena Court in an alternate take on the events of Bolton: A Splat Force Story.

This one is probably the tamest out of all the stories up until now, which would be a refresher for both you, and me (especially me with how much the previous two Chapters pushed me to the limits).

So without further ado, let's get into this!

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

(Previous Chapter)(Chapter Hub)

("Time... Space... Reality... Destiny...")

("Every born hero... Every fallen villain ... Every life shaped all come from these four concepts...")

("However, no fate is set in stone... Every destiny is counted on by the very beings who control it...")

("Your destiny isn't a singular path... It is a prism of infinite possibilities where a singular choice can shape the lives of everyone around you...")

("I'm The Beholder... It is my sworn duty to watch over the multiverse and learn of every new reality that is born...")

("Every reality is unique in their own way, with each of their differences being caused by something as big as a historic event, down to the actions of singular being...")

(" me on this journey through the multiverse as you and I ponder the big question... What If...?")

C H A P T E R  6 : W H A T I F . . . H E L E N A C O U R T L I V E D ?

("Helena Court, a poor, poor soul. Someone whose downfall was caused through her association with her gifted husband. Her death birthed a violent, unhinged being who would one day be feared by anyone who knew his name.")

("But, what if she survived the battle of Baxter Village? What would that mean for the timeline? We shall find out now as we travel to this new reality...")

"M-My beautiful babies...I-I love you s-so much...Your father d-does too...I-I don't know how long this will l-last but, I'll do what it takes to make sure that you are s-safe, my babies!"

Helena Court muttered with a large sense of fear and sadness in her voice. Outside of her house was a warzone. The Splat Force had found Baxter Village and were fighting against the gifted. Unfortunately, crying wasn't going to take her anywhere...

B O O M ! ! !

Helena screamed as the wall was blown down. In the madness, she accidentally knocked over the crib, and both Credence and Sasha fell onto the floor, both were already crying in fear.

She looked towards the blown-up wall and saw who followed it. Frederick Evans walked into the house, looking determined and furious.

"PLEASE DON'T SHOOT THEM, I'M BEGGING YOU! THEY'RE ONLY BABIES!"

Helena begged, tears streaming down her face as the man aimed his N-Zap towards her chest. By now, her fate had already been sealed... or had it?

S L A M ! ! !

Bolton Vulcan rushed into the building and slammed Frederick Evans against the wall. His hands lit up in flames as he held his arms against the wall, making the Commander scream in pain. Bolton turned his head to his wife.

"STAY BACK! DON'T GO OUTSIDE, IT'S TOO DANGEROUS!"

He yelled. Helena grabbed the kids and took them to the bedroom, hiding them under the bedsheets.

Back in the living room, Frederick Evans was beginning to fight through the burning pain as he lifted his head from against the wall and managed to get closer to Bolton.

S L A M ! ! !

Frederick landed a hard-hitting headbutt on Bolton, making him dizzy as he let out an aggressive grunt and held his head. Frederick then grabbed his N-Zap.

B A N G , B A N G ! ! !

Two shots were fired into Bolton's chest. The Octoling fell to his knees and held his bleeding chest. Frederick looked down at him, filled with anger and hatred towards the gifted for what they did to him. He grabbed a Splat Bomb from his belt and activated it before dropping it to the ground and walking away.

Still having his fighting spirit after all the damage he had just taken, Bolton grabbed the bomb and lunged it at Frederick's head, letting out a fierce roar. Frederick turned around to see the bomb but had no time to react as the bomb touched the tip of his nose.

B O O M ! ! !

Blown away by the explosion, Frederick's dead body fell to the ground, leaving Bolton on the verge of his demise too. Bolton fell back on his knees before falling onto his back. Helena rushed over to him, resting his head against her lap.

"H-Hela..."

Bolton weakly called out as he slowly lifted his right hand and stroked his left cheek, wiping a tear away.

"B-Bolton no! Please don't die! Don't leave me!"

Helena cried. Unfortunately, her prayers wouldn't be answered.

"I-I-I s-saved you... H-Hela..."

Bolton whispered. He wiped one final tear away from Helena's eyes before dying from his injuries. Helena cried hysterically as she held her husband in her arms.

Helena picked up Bolton's body and carried it into the bedroom and cuddled it until the battle was long over and the Splat Force had cleared out. During that time, she heard her friends die outside, alongside the cries from the Splat Force over the loss of one of their leaders and friends. Eventually, the village was cleared and Helena was free to go outside.

Her first order of business was to bury her husband. She dug a hole for him by the Village borders and rested his body inside before digging it back up. She then grabbed both of her babies from under the bedsheets and carried them both in each arm. She stood at Bolton's grave with tears in her eyes. She couldn't process that he was gone.

Unfortunately, Helena couldn't stand there any longer as the looming threat of another attack was imminent in her mind. She knew she had to clear out quickly, otherwise, she'd be caught and killed.

For one final time, Helena looked at her destroyed home. All the memories and friends she made flashed in her mind. It was all gone now. All she had left were her kids. At last, Helena turned away and never looked back.

The sun rose, lighting up the dark October morning. By now, the Gifted Wars had ended, it was coming up to the second anniversary of the end of the war. Thankfully, things only got better for Helena and her two kids.

Waking up in a small cottage in the middle of a tree-surrounded field, Helena Court lifted herself from her bed wiping her long Inkling hair off of her face, she even had to spit out some hair that had gotten into her mouth. She climbed out of her bed and put on her dressing gown, covering her bra and boxers.

She opened her bedroom door and entered the small, wooden living room. Credence and Sasha had already woken up and were playing with their toys. They sat on a soft white carpet in front of a wooden table in front of a leather black sofa.

Upon noticing his mother, Credence got up on his feet and slowly walked to her. With a huge smile on her face, Helena kneeled and picked up her son, who showered her with cuddles and kisses.

"Morning, sunshine!"

Helena whispered to him before placing him down and walking outside.

Helena looked up at the beautiful orange sky, breathing in the cold fresh air before tending to her crops just ahead of the cottage. Though she couldn't see him, The Beholder looked down from the orange sky with his galaxy-colored silhouette and his glowing eyes.

After pulling out a stack of potatoes, and putting them inside a large dirty sack, Helena walked back into the cottage and fired up the kitchen sink. She placed quarters of the potato stack into bowls before rinsing them under the water to freshen them up.

Whilst washing up the Potatoes, Helena glanced at a photo of her and her late husband, Bolton. She longed for the days when she could cuddle him and fall asleep in his arms like she used to, but whether she liked it or not, he was never coming back, he was gone, and that was what hurt the most to her.

M E A N W H I L E E L S E W H E R E . . .

In the middle of the sea was the base of the Royal Army of Inkopolis City. It was a large circular metal base with a landing platform attached to it. On the inside, Sargent Jacob Gunn was called into the meeting room by his General.

"General Swannack, sir, how may I help you?"

"I brought you and only you here because I know he's your friend."

He said to him before explaining the mission.

"Vincent Fisk, do you him?"

"Yeah, he aided us during the Gifted Wars and supplied us with great weapons to fight back. He's also a good friend of mine."

Jacob answered.

"Which is exactly why I brought you here today."

The General told him before getting into the details.

"A couple of nights ago, we had a meeting with Commander Spence of the Splat Force in which he proposed the idea of a vaccine for the gifted. This idea must've gone straight through Fisk's mind because earlier he brought up tracking down an offspring of the gifted to try and use their blood samples to make a cure. I tried to talk him down, but arrogant as he is, he kept going."

"Let me guess, you want me to try and spy on him?"

Jacob asked.

"If so, wouldn't he be at that warehouse?"

"Don't spy on him directly, go after his men."

General Swannack instructed.

"I tracked movements from one of our cargo vans this morning and they were at that village that the Splat Force raided. That was two hours ago. Now, they seem to be traveling towards the edge of the woods close to where the Once Great Symbol is. If possible, would you be able to follow them there and find out what's happening?"

"Of course, General! I'd be happy to help!"

Jacob said, answering the call to action.

"Great! One of our pilots is waiting for you at the platform. He'll fly you to Inkopolis. When there, you'll just need to drive to the location."

The General explained.

"On it! I won't let you down, General!"

Sargent Gunn said as he began to walk down the metal-plated hallway and towards the platform outside.

B A C K W I T H H E L E N A . . .

In the late morning, Helena was out in the woods holding two silver swords, swinging them around. She made loud grunts as she swung the swords at the trees, creating permanent marks. She sliced at plants and leaves, cutting them. All of this was to prepare for if another attack was to happen. She didn't want to take any more chances.

The training caused her adrenaline to rush, causing her to sweat and stop training for a small moment to catch her breath. However, one sound was heard from the distance that sprung her back into action...

S M A S H ! ! !

Helena's heart skipped a beat. She span around to see armed men outside of her cottage breaking in. Helena's heart was racing. She wasn't about to lose more of her family, not today, not ever again. She bolted to the cottage with her swords at the ready.

All of the men wore bulletproof shirts with padding on the arms and legs, though they had no protection for their heads. All of them were colored black.

Inside, one of the men was looking down at the two twins. Another man whispered in his ear as he ed by.

"Take the boy, he'll have stronger genes."

He told him. Making his mind up, the intruder grabbed Credence. Sasha grabbed ahold of his leg and looked up at the man, confused about his actions, only for the man to force Sasha off his leg before kicking her, knocking her whole body against a bookshelf, causing the young toddler to scream and cry in pain.

"HANDS OFF!"

Helena shouted, readying her swords. She was prepared to do whatever it took to save her children.

"Hold her off!"

The man holding Credence ordered. Seconds later, Helena was swarmed by men

S L I C E ! ! !

Helena managed to get a good chop at one of the men's legs, accidentally stabbing the sword into his leg from between the padding, making him yelp. The man then pushed Helena against the kitchen sink, allowing the kidnapper to escape the building with young Credence.

S L A M ! ! !

Dropping one sword and grabbing a frying pan with her left hand, she swung at the man holding her back, hitting him at the side of his head, which was then banged against the edge of the table. She then threw the pan at another intruder, knocking them out as the back of his head was smacked against the fridge.

Picking up her sword, and now carrying both swords instead of just one, Helena ran out of the cottage and began to chase down the kidnapper. Unfortunately, by the time she caught up, he had already gotten onto the steal grey cargo van and taken off

"GET BACK HERE!"

Helena screamed as she began to chase down the cargo van, but she was too slow. She stopped running and fell to her knees.

"NOO!"

Now on her hands and knees, Helena was in a fit of tears, crying loudly as her tears hit the road. Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming from behind her.

"Excuse me, Ma'am?"

Sargent Gunn called out from behind her.

Within a second, Helena jumped onto her feet and pointed one of her swords at Jacob's throat.

"ARE YOU WITH THEM?!"

She asked aggressively. Her face had gone flushed from all of the crying.

"ARE YOU WITH THE MEN WHO STOLE MY BABY BOY?!"

"NO! I'm not with them!" I'm NOT!"

He yelled in his defense. Seeing the truth from one long look into his eyes, Helena lowered her swords and started sobbing once again.

"I'm Jacob Gunn. I'm a Sargent for the R.A.I.C. I was sent here to help against Vincent Fisk. It looks like his men got here first..."

"First my husband, now my baby..."

Helena whimpered weakly, wiping her nose as she hung her head.

Jacob walked closer to the Inkling woman, showing that he meant no harm.

"We can still save him."

"H-How?! They've taken off with him!"

"My car is not far from here. Maybe, if we're quick enough, we can catch up. If not, I know where they might take him."

Jacob told her.

"I just need you to trust me, okay?"

Helena paused to think about Jacob's offer. Of course, she didn't trust him, why would she? A group of men came and kidnapped her child and now another stranger wanted to help. After everything she's been through, why would she trust him?

However, Helena thought realistically about it. If there was a chance that Jacob was right, then maybe there was hope for saving her son after all.

"Okay... anything to get my baby back!"

Helena thought before thinking back to her daughter.

"Sasha... m-my daughter, she was attacked! I need to check on her!"

"Of course! I'll find my car, you go find your daughter."

He told her before Helena bolted back to the Cottage.

As she got closer to her home, the sound of Sasha's loud crying grew louder and louder to the point where it sounded like a siren. Helena ran through the front door and dropped her swords, rushing over to the bookshelf to pick up her damaged daughter.

"It's okay, my baby girl! They're gone now! The bad men are gone! Shh..."

She whispered before kissing the pain better, slowly calming down her daughter. She kissed her on the forehead before singing her to sleep.

After the lullaby, Sasha was fast asleep. Helena gently placed her onto the couch before running into her bedroom and getting changed, putting on a black baby carrier shirt and black leggings underneath a green jacket.

Helena rushed back into the living room, picked up her sleeping daughter, and tucked her into the carrier shirt.

"I'm coming, my baby!"

She whispered out loud before running out of her cottage. The journey to save her son had just begun.

M E A N W H I L E E L S E W H E R E . . .

There was a warehouse by the docks. It was a small, light grey, square building with a small balcony at the top going all around the building. Inside was a large and open square room, with stairs leading up to a higher platform.

Stood in the middle of the room, setting up a metal bed was an Inkling man with slit-back light-brown hair who wore a black tuxedo over his white shirt and black tie and tros. He had placed a table next to the bed which carried needles and syringes.

His phone started going off. The man picked up his phone, flipped it open, and answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Mr. Fisk, sir, we've managed to acquire one of the children. A young boy. Shall we bring him to your location?"

The man on the phone asked.

"Yes. Bring him to me immediately."

Vincent Fisk requested.

"When all this is done, and the cure is made, the world will be safe from the gifted. There will never be another war after this."

Vincent hung up the phone, closed it, and returned it to his pocket. He closed his eyes and tilted his head upwards, letting out a deep sigh before getting back to his work.

L A T E R T H A T A F T E R N O O N . . .

Helena sat on the front seat with little Sasha tucked into her baby carrier shirt. By now, Sargent Gunn had driven them out of the forest. The pair were now on a long road by large grass fields. Both of Helena's swords rested on the back seat.

"What did you say that man's name was again?"

"Vincent Fisk."

He replied. He began to explain his history with the man whilst keeping his eyes on the road.

"I've only known him for a couple of years, but he's been a good friend. I don't know what's gotten into him that he needs your son. I'm hoping we could work that out soon."

"If he does anything to Credence I swear to-"

"He won't, don't worry! I won't let him!"

He assured her, glancing at her briefly before turning back to the road.

"Whatever he has planned for your boy is something that the General wouldn't have asked for, nor would Commander Allen nor Commander Spence. Then again, the Splat Force faded off after the Gifted Wars after the loss of their Commander and many of their men."

"One of the Commanders killed my husband..."

Helena choked as she wiped her left eye.

"Frederick Evans?"

Jacob asked. He didn't get a reply from Helena, but the silence spoke volumes.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that. Frederick Evans was always a ticking time bomb. Even Rex Allen would tell you that, but his death changed the team completely, outside of a new Commander. They managed to end the war with the help of a few gifted people of their own. Of course, that doesn't excuse what happened with your husband."

"No..."

Helena whispered back as she began to stroke her small daughter's hair.

The car remained silent for the next few minutes as Jacob and Helena entered the big city of Inkopolis. The city was lit up in bright, vibrant colors once again and became a beacon of freedom, fun, and hope after the Gifted Wars.

Whilst driving through the streets, they drove through Mika Road. It was there that Helena spotted a familiar sight, one filled with dark memories.

"That's Todarodes College..."

"You went there too?"

Jacob asked, showing interest in the College.

"Yeah, me and my husband went there. I don't have the best memories of that place, most of them I've blocked from my memory for good reasons..."

Jacob glanced at Helena through the car mirror and saw the discomfort on her face. He then began to think about her, especially the things that she's opened up about. Most of the things went back to her late husband. Jacob became interested in her husband.

"If you don't mind me asking, what was he like?"

Jacob asked. He realized very quickly that the question he asked was vague as he didn't specify who he was talking about. He quickly fixed that.

"Your husband?"

The question caught Helena by surprise. She sank into her seat as she began to recount her time with him.

"He was troubled. He would always get bullied because of who and what he was... an Octoling. It broke my heart to see how he was treated. His home life wasn't the best either. His Mom died giving birth to him, and his father... he was a nasty man. He would beat him constantly. Eventually, Bolton snapped one day and smashed his head open with a kettle."

"I hearing about that on the news!"

Jacob interrupted.

"It was at Larvae Town, right? Close to Pulpo City. It was a middle-aged man murdered in his own home. The killer was never found. There were no signs of any family other than a wife."

"Lucifer Vulcan... he didn't care enough to take photos of his son. He hated his son, and Bolton lashed out at him."

Helena explained before continuing the story.

"After that, he moved into my place and stayed there for a while until that meteorite struck and gave him those gifts. I think it was a year later that we were called by Terrador to become residents of Baxter Village. It took a while to settle, but we did eventually. We got married and had twins. Everything was perfect... until he was killed."

Jacob went quiet for a few seconds. Despite all she said about him, he recognized that she still loved him despite the flaws, despite his story.

"I'll make you a promise, okay?"

Jacob asked as he stopped the car at the traffic lights. The duo looked at each other as Jacob gave her the promise.

"No matter what happens next, I'll make sure that Vince pays for what he did to your family today. I'll make sure he never harms you again. But, we have to do this the right way, and that means no killing."

As the car began to move, Helena went back to staring out the window. She already had her mind set on making Vincent Fisk pay for kidnapping Credence.

After a few more minutes of driving, they arrived at their location. The same cargo bays from earlier were parked outside of the warehouse by the docks. Men were carrying crates in and out of the vans, with the ones taken out being stored in the warehouse.

The pair got out of the car, with Jacob grabbing his Splattershot from the backseat and handing Helena her swords.

"Are you sure you're up for this? They're dangerous and armed. I could always-"

"No. I'm here for my son! I'm not gonna sit back and risk losing my boy!"

Helena exclaimed as she started scratching her swords together, sharpening them for the battle. Sasha was tucked deep into the shirt and was curled up into a ball.

"Alright... let's go and save your son!"

Jacob said. The two of them then ran through the open gates and were instantly spotted by the armed men. The men went into defensive mode once they noticed their weapons.

"HEY!"

"STOP RIGHT THERE!"

"DON'T MOVE ANY CLOSER"

The pair looked at each other with one last approving nod before Jacob super-jumped into the battle.

S L A M , S L A M ! ! !

Upon exiting the jump, Jacob landed a strong right hook onto one of the men, knocking his body sideways before throwing another punch to his chest, knocking him to the ground. Jacob turned to his left to see one of the men pointing his weapon at his chest.

B A N G , B A N G ! ! !

Jacob fumbled back from the shots but was saved by the bulletproof vest that he wore under his navy suit. The moment the armed man realized that Jacob was still alive, Jacob aimed his Splattershot at the man's right leg.

B A N G ! ! !

S L A M ! ! !

The man's leg was shot, making him let out a harmed scream as he held onto the wound and fell onto the side of his leg before Jacob ran to him and uppercut the man, taking him out of the fight. Meanwhile, Helena was getting busy with three other men

B A N G , B A N G , B A N G ! ! !

Helena sliced each bullet up using her swords, putting all the self-training into good use. Of course, Helena had to hold back on her attacks so she wasn't killing everyone. The most she could do, and was doing, was slicing the men's skin.

S L I C E , S L I C E ! ! !

S L A M ! ! !

Slicing the stomach of one man and then the leg of the next, only one man was left in her way, who she disposed of with a strong kick. Now, all that was left was Vincent Fisk, who was inside the warehouse.

Helena rushed over to her new Sargent friend and handed him the frightened Sasha.

"Look after him for me, okay? I'll be back!"

Helena said as she super jumped onto the small balcony and walked through the top entrance. She looked down at the ground floor and saw Credence strapped to a metal bed with blood samples next to him. Angered by that sight alone, Helena super-jumped to the ground floor and met with Vincent Fisk.

"HANDS OFF MY SON!"

Seeing Helena made Vincent let out a stressful sigh.

"Ma'am, get out of here. This is your first warning!"

"Not without my son!"

"I'm sorry, Ma'am, but your son is important for what I'm doing here!"

Vincent said as he began to explain his actions.

"For too long have the gifted terrorized the world, even resulting in a war that only ended a couple of years ago! Your son is the son of a gifted man. We need his blood, his DNA to try and make a cure for the gifted!"

"You sick bastard! He's just a young boy! He hasn't fully developed yet, and he won't for another twelve years! Why are you doing this to him?! Why not get someone who is fully developed?!"

"Because he was the only one we could track down! I had my men go back to Baxter Village to find anyone who could be alive. We found your family portrait and tracked you down. I proposed the idea to General Swannack, but he disapproved. I then went out behind his back and found your family and took your son."

Vincent said, hanging his head in shame. He felt remorseful over what he had done, but he knew that this was the only way around it.

"I promise you that I haven't hurt him, nor will I kill him, I'd never kill a child. I just need his blood!"

"Well? You already have blood samples from him, multiple actually! Let him come back, please!"

Helena begged. By now, she lowered her swords, dropping them to the ground to show mercy.

"It's only enough for small doses. It'll only last so long. I'm sorry, Ma'am, I'll be needing your son much longer!"

Helena stepped back in horror as Vincent looked away from her and got back to his work, picking up a needle and heading for Credence. Panicked, Helena picked up one of her swords and dashed at Vincent.

"NOO!"

She screamed. By the time Vincent turned to look at Helena, she had already reached him.

S L A M ! ! !

Helena's swords dug deep into Vincent's chest, but she kept running until she slammed him against the wall. Vincent let out a gasp before blood began dripping out of his mouth. His body began shivering before his body slouched forward. Vincent Fisk stopped breathing, he was dead.

Moments later, Jacob jumped through the balcony after hearing the screaming from outside. He landed on the ground floor and saw what had happened.

"Helena..."

He whispered as he walked to the startled woman.

Helena was barely keeping it together. Never before had she killed a man. Her body shivered as she began hyperventilating as the reality of what had happened sunk in. Jacob got onto one knee and calmed her down by whispering to her gently whilst stroking her shoulder.

"Shh... it's over. It's gonna be fine now..."

He whispered, preventing her from having a full-on breakdown. Helena covered her mouth with both hands as tears fell down her cheeks.

Jacob walked over to Vincent's impaled body and pulled out the sword. He neatly lined Vincent up against the wall and aimed his Splattershot at the stab wound.

B A N G , B A N G , B A N G ! ! !

The size and shape of the wound had completely changed from the shots that Jacob had dealt. Confused, Helena looked up at Jacob, wanting to know what the point was, though she couldn't speak. Jacob managed to pick up on what she wanted to say quickly.

"I'm covering for you. The wound no longer looks like a stab wound, but instead now looks like a gunshot, multiple gunshots."

He explained.

"I'll tell the General that he was about to hurt your child, but I came in and shot him multiple times. That way, the blame will be on me."

"W-Won't you get in trouble?"

"Outside of work, yes, but this whole thing was under R.A.I.C business."

Jacob assured her.

"Worst case scenario, I get a very long telling off."

Jacob helped Helena onto her feet before the two walked over to Credence and helped him out of his restraints.

"Oh, my baby!"

Helena exclaimed, bursting into tears as Credence held her face. She hid Credence inside of her carrier shirt. Jacob picked up the two swords and carried them as Helena walked to the front door and opened it from the inside.

On the outside sat Sasha who reached out to her mother. Helena picked up her baby girl and tucked her inside the shirt along with her older twin brother. Now with her hands free, the Sargent gave Helena her swords back, which she carried in each hand. The fight was over now. All that Helena needed now was one big rest.

T H E N E X T D A Y . . .

K N O C K , K N O C K , K N O C K ! ! !

Helena opened her front door to be greeted by Jacob Gunn, who now wore a black jacket and grey tros instead of his usual Sargent get-up. He greeted her by lifting a basket.

"My wife made these weatcakes for your family. I figured I'd drop them off here quickly."

"Oh wow..."

Helena said with a massive smile on her face.

"This means a lot to me, thank you! You didn't have to-"

"Don't worry, we didn't have to, but we wanted to. Me and my wife want to help out your family in the best ways we can!"

He told her.

"She said she'd be willing to help you find a morning job so you can get money. Her sister said she'd be happy to babysit Sasha and Credence on your work days until they're old enough."

Helena felt overwhelmed with emotions. A few tears escaped her eyes as the morning sun outside grew brighter. She nodded repeatedly before hugging the Sargent.

"Thank you! Oh, thank you!"

"You're welcome!"

Jacob replied with a wide smile.

As the pair of them finished their hug, young Sasha waddled up to her mother like a penguin.

"Mama... I just did poo poo!"

Helena giggled at Sasha's tension-breaking comment.

"I'll be there in a sec, sweetheart!"

She told her before turning back to her new friend.

"I better get going!"

"Of course! Have a great day!"

Jacob said as he and Helena waved each other goodbye before she closed the door to take care of her children.

("Though times may become rough, though they're days where everything becomes hopeless and falls apart, there is always a bright future ahead of us. All we have to do is walk towards the light and eventually, every little thing will be alright...")

Thx for reading the sixth Chapter of What If...?: A Splat Force Story! I hope you enjoyed the small change of pace with this Chapter. I enjoyed getting to write a slow-paced and relaxing story when compared to how hectic and depressing the previous lot have been. Next week will be back to the action, and it'll long (and hard to write, dear god...), so stay tuned for that! Until next time, stay safe out there! ^^
