XFL Prediction League (XFLPL) Week 1

It’s back! Not exactly, but an interpretation of the #NFLPL is back! Introducing the XFL Prediction League! Like the NFLPL, the XFLPL will be following the same concept where you are required to make your predictions for each of the XFL games happening in that week. With each correct prediction earning yourself a point and the most points at the end of the XFL Championship on Sunday, April 26th will be crowned the winner. However, unlike the NFLPL, the XFLPL will offer an additional point for having the closest score to whatever the final score was, but you must have the correct winner for that to apply. Additionally, there will be 50 coins awarded from the pot to whoever has the most predictions right after a four week period (after week 4, after week 8, and after the championship). If multiple people have the same amount right the pot will be split evenly among the winners. One last thing, the playoffs, and the championship will be worth double points.

Now to participate in this fun event you can either send me a private message of your picks, make a post including your picks, or leave a comment down below including your picks. However, you must include #XFLPL in your post for it to count. Also, if you are even one second late posting your predictions for a certain game your pick will not be counted for that game. Additionally, having two different results of the same game in your post, message, or comment will nullify that game. If I also catch someone changing one or more of their picks after the game has started consequences will come into play. Modifying your post or comment for whatever reason after the games have started will nullify your predictions too. Last edited should not be after the games have started.

You can in at any time too! And after each week I will provide a leaderboard in the next post showcasing everyone’s points from the previous week so you can see how big of a difference there is. I am also trying to come up with a more effective overall leaderboard so I can get the overall scores out faster. Along with that, I will also make a chat where you can discuss the games as they go on.
