𝒜 𝓈𝓀𝓎’𝓈 𝓋𝒾𝑒𝓌 ~ 𝓈𝒽𝑜𝓇𝓉 𝓅𝑜𝑒𝓂 𝒷𝓎 𝐵𝑒𝓁𝓁𝒶

A short poem for our poetry club regards theme, “sky.”

Change, time lapse, a spinning time loop.

I watch the clouds form, I watch the rain start and stop, drizzle then pour, the sun rise and set.

I watch the blue sky turn pink and orange.

I watch the birds fly in packs for winter.

I watch the earth move away.

At ease as time slips beside me.

at peace just sitting there, watching the world move.

I watch breakfast turn to dinner, and watch mothers collect their young.

I watch the rise and setting sun.

I’m a watcher, not a player.

An observer.

I watch the stars appear in the sky, I watch them shine before me.

Watching the sky as history takes it’s place and makes it’s mark.

A spinning time loop.
