Question: Is Amortentia dangerous?

My answer: This maybe a short blog answer but I think Amortentia is dangerous. I see no difference between it and date *ape drugs used in irl. The potion forces an individual to love another and who knows what ill intentions one might have.

As many have pointed out with Merope Gaunt and Tom senior. Tom Sr. Was held against his will, forced to bed and love Merope because she grew obsessed with the muggle man. And when she ran out he finally came to his senses and left his captor.

I think the potion should not be sold, taught, or brewed at all in the Wizarding world and I think J.K. Rowling didn't think so far as to suspect Amortentia to be used for sinister purposes.

And I don't like how casually and unconcerned characters were about Amortentia. Ron was drugged against his will over obsessive girl. Hermione overhead girls discussing about forcing the potion on Harry and just shrugged it off saying it's not dangerous.

This is just my opinion on Amortentia.
