Hello misfits!

the one and only co founder of this beautiful amino here!

throughout my time on Amino I have been called many different things. be it Clock, Clockwork, Click, Clockadoodledoo, Mama Clockie, and more. so I will generally answer to anything as long as I know it is directed at me.

if you really want to grab my attention, I suggest using Clock or Clockwork. but that does not mean I won't answer to the others.

there are a couple of reasons as to what brought me to this amino. one is obviously that my best friend started it and she brought it to me as an idea. turns out, she had really thought about it and before I knew it the idea was real and here I am!

the second, and main, reason why I am here is because I love animals. I love animals, I love this career path. as a 16 year old, my mind always flashed through career paths. but my heart has always stuck with those that work with and help animals. be it wildlife biology, zoology, or going into veterinary medicine. this amino speaks to me on so many levels and I look forward to meeting those who share my love for animals and this path!

I am I guess what people like to call a dreamer. im still in high school so all I can do is wait to graduate to start my vet journey.

what I love about this career path is that it works side by side with animals. that's all I want in a career, something many people don't understand.

i've been fortunate to be around animals my whole life, being born into a family of animals lovers. some people just see animals as pets that you have, to take care of and show off. I see animals as friends, family. they help you when you need it, whether you acknowledge them or not. so why shouldn't I want to give back to them?

this career makes sure animals are cared for, safe and healthy. and that's all I want to do. Is to help animals feel their best as they move through their lives. because it's the small things that they do that really makes your day better, I just want to be there to make sure their days stay good too.

man... I have 9 pets? my family owns 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, and one chameleon. since I have so many, I will talk about my dogs because they are the main four in our house. always getting our attention of course!

fun fact: all of our dogs are rescues and three of the four were born and partially raised in the wilderness before being taken in.

the oldest pet we have is Cajun. Cajun is a seven year old catahoula mix. we got him when we originally moved to our house, I was in about second grade then. as a puppy he would bounce around our house, eat our socks and anything he could get a hold of. little did he know he got himself a new nickname, "Sock Monster". he's obviously not a puppy anymore, but that sure as he'll doesn't stop him from acting like it! I mean, what's up with big dogs thinking they are still the little light goofballs they used to be?? Cajun was originally in our house with two other dogs, both basenjis. unfortunately.. they both had to be put down. leaving Cajun alone. until we got three new dogs, only one of which is still alive today.

Tess. how do I explain Tess? XD she's weird. that sums her up really well. she likes to lay in weird positions, twisting and turning her body until it looks ready to snap. it's really scary sometimes seeing her that way, but we know she's just being a dope and that she will be okay. she's always super goofy, she will walk up to you with a guilty expression on her face and her tail wagging so hard she would be hitting her own face. she's one of the most expressive animals we have in our house to this day.

Willow. the third oldest but forever my baby. Willow is a catahoula Aussie mix. dhe never really grew as big as we thought, so she always looks like the puppy in the house. my mother likes to say her personality is like mine, needy and annoying. of course that's also just my mother being herself. Willow does whine a lot, but to her defense, she is in a crate half of the day. not because we aren't home, but because she cannot be out when Tess is out. Willow hit a point in her life where she decided she wanted dominance. Tess being the female alpha in our house, she was having none of that. they will get into brutal fights.. many of which I have had to break up. It's horrifying and just overall scary. so we keep them away from each other and that's how it's been for a while now.

Willow has been deemed my dog many times over. she listens to me a lot more than other of my household. she will follow me everywhere, cuddle with me, and annoy the crap outta me. but I can never be mad with her because I love her to death and if anything happened to her, I'm not sure what I would do.

Logan. we got Logan about two years ago I believe? he is a long haired black lab, the baby in our family. Logan takes after Tess, he is very weird, yet submissive. he loves to "talk" and growls all of the time. it was hard to see if he was aggressive at first, but we finally came to realize it is just how our little misfit is. of course, it takes some patience if you are someone who gets annoyed easily, he growls and barks at literally everything. but no matter how annoying any of them get, I wouldn't trade them for the world.

I love to read books while listening to music on my down time. it's very calming and helps me relax after a long day. I also like to hike, /try/ drawing, and writing. writing is a pretty big part of who I am, it's one of the many things I am very ionate about.

And of course I love Supernatural!
