Their justification isn’t very good imo, you can get to level 11 from just g in everyday and waiting enough, without actually participating in the fandom. There can be people who had high level s previously but they may have gotten locked out of their and are starting over, they pretty much only want to be friends with someone because of a number.

Yes it’s dumb, but it’s useless to complain about something that someone is very firm on. If they’d like to believe that level determines maturity, then that’s them.
I guess, everyone to themselves. Really I don’t care, because if that’s what only matters to someone then really I could care less about talking to them.
That is kinda messed up. There could be someone who is 18+ with years experience behind the screen of a lv 2. It's just a number. Now if they where going by the days you have been on the amino it would make a bit more sense.
Still though, you can’t judge a book by its cover.
