Edit: Wow you glitchtale fans are mature. You send me a long paragraph of text and blocks me so I can't reply. Nice. -_-
I'll probably get a ton of hate lmao. I'll try to keep it as ive as possible and keep away my bloody sarcasm.
Alright. Betty. The frisk recolor in the GlitchTale universe. I think she is just another OC made to get as much attention as possible.
1. She is literally just another frisk OC. It's just Frisk gone hippie.
2. Please don't put OC's in your AU.
Your OC was never in the original game right? Betty was never in the original. An AU is when you take the real character and twist them a little, changing the plot. Betty is literally put there, at the center for no reason.
3. She is extremely overpowered.
"Betty is so god damned OP it isn't even funny. In the beginning when she killed Sans, I was cool with it because it was a sneak attack and it gave us a reason to hate and fear her and root for the characters. but...her power, Rhabdophobia is so fucking OP man. She can take over a person's powers without stressing her own??"

4. Oh man the Rhabdophobia.
Alright. To start off, this is the definition of Rhabdophobia.
![Betty Is A Mary Sue.-[BC]Edit: Wow you glitchtale fans are mature. You send me a long paragraph of text and blocks me so I ca](https://image.staticox.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpm1.aminoapps.vertvonline.info%2F6544%2Ff0f5252b71553f46a4a5486bdc43499c465f1438_hq.jpg)
Alright. To put a phobia/mental illness on a character you must have good understanding for what it means to your character. I personally see it as an offensive way when you make a phobia a freaking special attack.
You MUST have understanding for what you are working with.
Why is she holding a rod if she fears the rod. Wtf
As an example, you can't give your character depression and then make them edgy, cut themselves in puplic and talk suicidal stuff. Someone with depression wouldn't do that.
And that special attack on its own is EXTREMELY op. Like why would you have a power that literally takes over your opponent's attacks? If you were roleplaying with that power, everyone would scream bloody murder because it's not ok. Same with possession. Autohit, autododge.
5. Betty lacks flaws.
She is extremely op but literally no flaws. Just because you make your character powerful doesn't make them a good character.
You want to have a 50/50 relationship between them. The more everyday they are, the more people can relate to them.
6. She got the unoriginal tragic backstory.
Wizards fought blehe blehe. Some weird chant. Death and poof betty was created. Another version of the
"I am a failed experiment"
without involving Gaster.
7. "In Love Part 1, after absorbing the HATE substance, her eyes temporarily turned a brighter shade of pink and her scleras became black. It is a possibility that her skin could turn completely black when the HATE takes control of her; which is similar to Chara being covered in HATE in Continue."

Seriously? Is she Chara too now?

I could fit more here but I'm too tired to even bother.

This is an old post, but I had to comment for the first time on this. You have interesting points when it comes to the arguement on Betty being a Mary Sue. The series has progressed from 2017, she's got quite a bit of development since then, including more backstory which shows why she is, well, the way she is. If you're still active, I highly suggest you check it out and maybe make a update on it.

Second: Your take on OCs in AUs.
I will say this: there's absolutely nothing wrong with adding OCs to AUs. In fact, I'm not sure why it's even an issue to begin with, especially when it's common. Yes, OCs are not in the original game. That's...that's literally why 'OCs' are called 'Original Characters', lol. Emphasis on original. As for the AU part and the reasoning for it, I'd like to remind you that 'Alternate Universes' as a whole means that it *departs* from the canon of UNDERTALE. This means, yes, characters that aren't canon could exist in an AU Things that would not happen in the canon, would happen in an alternate universe. Glitchtale would fall under the rule of an alternate universe.
I get it, you like the Original UNDERTALE. I love it too, not only is it one of my favorite games, the lore of it and the rules regarding it also intrigue me. I loved it so much where I've ended up creating a sort of short OC Centric AU taking place in one of my secondary game series, Earthbound which I implemented those sorts of meta mechanics from UNDERTALE into that series! Regardless, that post is from 2017 so I'm not exactly going to be harsh. I don't have a problem with your take on Betty, it's rather the OC part which I felt like I needed to clarify.
with the op part yeah...i agree thats why i stopped watching it
I know this really old post but the over powdered betty I mean you gotta she is the most forbidden and strongest being in the world I mean she has fear hate and akuma so it's not really true I mean she's ded now sooo (I wasn't trying to be rude I'm just saying just to let ya know)
Dude is this a joke because the ocs argument is kinda stupid in my opinion
I put OCs in my AU. But that’s simply because they’re not cannon characters, so claiming that they’re part of Toby’s big story is just straight up lying. Think of UnderTale Yellow. It’s more like that. And I haven’t posted anything about my AU... well until now with this comment
Wow so my 2 year old post was removed
