Hello all!

I’m Azuli and I’m an amateur photographer! I’ve been around a camera for most of my life, as my parents are both volunteer photographers. I got my first camera around 2007 (I think it was either a Kodak EasyShare or a Nikon CoolPix?). In the summer of 2010 my dad lent me his old Nikon D50 and took me to a swim meet he was volunteering to photograph for my swim club. Taking photos of my teammates in action got me hooked. I continued throughout the next eight years entering my photos into my local county fair through 4-H. In 2019 I received my own camera, reigniting my ion for photography.

If you can’t tell from one glance at my gallery, I love birds. I have too many field guides to count and am a walking encyclopedia on the birds of eastern North America. I am also going to school in hopes of being an ornithologist. My camera is basically my binoculars and I take it with me whenever I go birding.

Some of my other hobbies including spending time with my dog and my llama, playing video games, and playing clarinet and bass clarinet.

Gray Catbird

Little Lost Duckling
