BLACKLISTED

'Where...am I? Why am I here?' I try to recollect everything I , but my mind is blank. To help my memory a bit I observed my surroundings. 'Something's off there', I say under my breath, cautious as I don't know what will happen. I try to stand up but a sharp pain threw me off guard and I faced the floor with my face.

'Oh...finally! You are awake Miss Jeon Somi! I waited and waited and...waited! You just wouldn't wake up so I had a lot of time to think about what you would do when you wake up and realized it would be better if you couldnt walk and run away again!' I looked at that person. I couldn't see whether it was a woman or a man but I guessed the latter as the silhouette of that person suggested. Somehow the sense of fear didn't hit me as I thought it would do. Actually...I didn't feel anything. Why is that? I tried to walk again, but failed to do so. While looking at the person I crawled at all fours, approaching him. He or she stood still and didn't flinch. Somehow I managed to reach the person and took a closer look. It was a man, wearing a mask so almost all of his face was covered. I looked at his hair it was ravenblack and the few silver hairstrands he had made him appear old although I am sure he wasnt nearly as old as he looked like.

'Why am I here? I don't anything. What do you want from me?' I said with a calm manner.

Why am I behaving this way? Shouldn't I be scared? What is wrong with me?

'So many questions but so few answers' the man hummed, looking at me while kneeling in front of me. He took a strand of my hair and twirled it around his fingers. Then he stopped and slowly took off his mask. It was too dark to see anything so the only thing I could recognise was a huge scar on his face. That scar almost covered all of his face, the look of it disgusted me although I barely saw anything. Seeing my expression he turned away from me and took out his phone. I slowly noticed how I suddenly felt heavy and how exhaustion overcame me.
